Hi, I would not recommend using this agent as a buyer for the reason being that as the buyer of closed bids you have to then pay sellers fee's which is 3%. Although beforehand you are made aware of this i believe it to be immoral practice and unfair, as a buyer you should not be subjected to paying this fee. Other than this the staff at the branch were all really friendly and helpful throughout the purchasing process and I believe it is the policy makers who should review there practice....

Rachel was fabulous and was by far and away the best estate agent I have ever dealt with. I genuinely feel she went the extra mile to find me a place to live which matched what I was looking for. Ultimately, she persuaded me to view a property I would never have looked at but knew instinctively was the right home for me and my children. Firstly let me say how approachable and helpful both Daniel and his team were to my wife and I during the time they spent with us trying to sell the property. Added to that was their total professionalism throughout in keeping us informed of every step of the sale operation strategy and giving us the benefit of their experience of the Chigwell house sale scene. Right from the beginning I was impressed with the proactive manner demonstrated by Daniel and his staff at the Chigwell office. Dear Deepak, Sincere thanks for taking the time and trouble to write this review letting us know how happy you were with all parts of the Douglas Allen service. It appears as if you used all elements of our services in order to buy your home such as our conveyancing panel and arranging your mortgage through us too. We had 3 agents come and see us as i think it is important to get a feel for the company and the way they plan to sell in such an important transaction. Of the 3 Douglas Allen (Daniel) were by far the most pro-active and was very focused on what they could do. Personally I found the initial meeting (although very polished) a bit too much op a hard sell. That said he did convince us and they did deliver what they sold so no complaints and my issue with one of the other agents was that they wer...

I am sorry if you have felt messed about in any sort of way. We arrange hundreds of viewings each week for properties and run an extremely tight schedule of which hundred of customers are happy with. We do call, email and text to notify buyers when viewings are cancelled but unfortunately somethings are out of our hands especially if it is an unaccompanied viewing or a property goes under offer and the vendor instructs us to cancel any future viewings.
