The worst Agency I have ever dealt with - Dexters Richmond Branch. We have only just moved into our property and if I could have legally get our deposit refunded we would not be here! The 6 weeks leading up to our lease commencement were an absolute nightmare dealing with both A*W* and C* M* of the Richmond branch (whoever would bother to respond on the day). The above is a generic response they send to every bad review. I asked to speak to the Director of the Richmond branch on several occasions during my terrible dealings with them and was not given details (only on the last day of my dealings with the brach were the Directors details provided). It wasn't until I posted these reviews did anyone bother to contact me and all I heard were excuses. Dexters/Thamesview are absolutely, hands down, the worst agency I have ever dealt with. AVOID!....

Extremely poor service. When I was about to rent a property from them they made all sorts of false promises that the property will be repaired prior to me entering (which they didn't and of course they did not bother checking either ยขรขโ€šยฌรขโ‚ฌล“ they subsequently blamed it on the previous tenant), they wouldn't check me in to the property, they failed to meet all special arrangments agreed, the day I was about to move they did not have the keys and asked me to go get them myself (!) from ano...

the agents were not able to answer simple questions both times. they should recommend to landlords to refurbish properties before renting. They often show the property to more than one prospective tenant at one time which doesnt allow much chance for the tenant to view. They have their own inventory clerk who they claim is independant who coincidentally works from the same main office of the parent company thamesview estates. their basic lease is not fair to the tenant with various dubious cl...

What agent could do to change your mind?
be more tenant focused rather than landlord. checks to ensure property is suitable for tenants should be made by the agent also. letting a property for an 18 month lease when it hasnt been refurbished just before the tenant moves in is not going to make a satisfied client.
