I made the decision to put my house on the market earlier in the year and asked a number of the most popular local agents over to give me a valuation. I received a number of prices, some reaching ridiculous levels, but decided Dexters seemed the most reliable after giving lots of evidence to reinforce their price. I cannot thank the staff at Dexters in Hampton enough! We were struggling to sell our home in the area for a matter of months until we received some mail regarding 'a fresh approach' and, I couldn't stress enough, how well their approach worked! We are selling our home and what was promised before we signed the agreement and what is being delivered is chalk and cheese. Beware this group as they are bottom feeders and sell only on price. The Director, Abigail Mailk also has a bad memory on what was said before we signed up! Caveat Emptor....

I would give a minus if I could. The agent treated the tenant like nothing. We had an issue with the light bulb in the bedroom that could not be changed. I wrote an email a month ago to the agent who was dealing with us. He totally ignored the email for weeks a month. Then I posted an general email on Dexter's website querying about the issue. These agents are utterly appalling, i advise you stay well clear and i agree they are all out for the landlord in every way. We recently checked out of a property they were supposingly managing which was filthy, very poorly decorated, we lived there 3 years and left if spotless and decorated throughout, they are now disputing this but we have the origianal inventory and compared against this one, they have not got a leg to stand on. 3 years we had a dripping tap they repaired it 2 weeks befor...

Absolutely flummoxed at the way Dexters Hampton works. highly unprofessional, unethical and much desirable etiquette. Three houses and all three houses Dexters ran a bid war even after going in with the market price, they did not take the property off the market. Dexters & Snellers in Hampton are both part of thamesview group and run a cartel by artificially jacking up prices & on verge of ruining the landscape by making this area a developers market. No family can buy a house these days...

I had a very long drawn out experience of buying my property. From jul till feb! I'm glad to say that the delay was not due to the agents but rather the fault of the solicitors. I was especially glad because since Oliver took over from another coleague-agent things began to move along. He put pressure on solicitors and liased with me and kept me informed all along. I have a very high regard for him. I truly think he is an asset for dexters. I wish him a lot of success in the future....

Absolutely awful service. Attempted to get back my deposit and left it for 2 weeks so landlord could clear everything up. Called office and got passed from one member of staff to another. All of them seemed totally uninterested. Was told i was emailed.Emailed to the wrong email address which i had informed them no less than 10 times through calls and fax. so i could not pick up any information . Absolutely awful. I had the displeasure of dealing with a certain female member of staff who was supposedly a 'senior' and I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. Lie after lie, never returned my calls, rude, unhelpful, unpleasant, made me feel like a piece of dirt on her shoe and everything you don't want in an agent. Have just left a house after 3 and a half years and have had nothing but issues including leaks, unfinished building work, no heating/hot water for a 9 week period...the list goes on. Now the tenancy has finished we have seen the report made by an independant company of the check out. Thamesview have told us today, (1 day before we should have got our deposit back) that the landlord is witholding £750 of the deposit. I find the staff at Dexters Richmond office extremely unprofessional, irritating and incompetent. They harass me with calls to show the flat, which I always agreed so long as they have keys to let themselves in because both my husband and I work. They haven't got keys and instead of asking the landlord for keys, they harass me instead on a daily basis. They ask me (6 months pregnant woman) to drop off keys at their office so they can have a spare set cut. I work just like the rest of the wor...
