If you are looking for a letting agent that takes care of your property search for you, look no further! Rhys and Amy at Dexters Twickenham are amazing. They listened to what I was looking for in a property and found ones that meeet the criteria (not wasting my time trying to upsell ones beyond budget or out of the target area). They went out of their way to find me a place and unlike others, managed to be proactive without being annoying! The fees are reasonable too, so all the more reason to go with Dexters.

We are tenants in a house in Richmond managed by Dexters. I have never experienced anything like this in my life---they are arrogant, incompetent and sly. The place was in terrible shape when we moved in, dirty windows, rubbish in the back garden, filthy carpeting. Then, once we began to use the plumbing, we were plagued with the smell of sewage for a month, which they took their lazy time resolving--it turned out to be an uncapped sewage pipe right under the living room floor! Throughout it all, they have been unresponsive and unrepentant, and have steadfastly refused to let us have any contact with the landlord, but have given us nothing but defensive justifications. It's hardly worth mentioning the broken loo, wasp nest in the attic or other regular problems. It has been a real nightmare dealing with them, and I would warn others away by all means!

It's not often I leave reviews, but then again its not often I experience such amazing professionalism and customer service.
I dealt with both Harriet and Sonia, when I let my flat in Twickenham out and on the subsequent re-let.
It was seamless and hassle-free from start to finish. Both were polite, efficient and secured a rental substantially higher than any other agent had even suggested was possible!
Look no where else, I will be using them for all my property ventures.

We have a managed let in Richmond, Surrey. We chose a managed let as we live overseas and thought this would provide additional security for both us and our tenants. There is nothing managed about the service we have experienced from Dexters and Georgina Keywood. Urgent repair requests from the tenant are ignored for days at a time; info request emails ignored for days also. The tenant and I are in regular contact which Georgina has specifically told us not to do to ease communication aka so we do not uncover her lies. Latest lie: she told me the tenant's mother was seriously sick and so I couldn't contact her for a week. The tenant's mother was not sick. This was a blatant lie. Also incredibly difficult to get contact names of senior people to report poor performance.

Sonia was a pleasure to work with. She understood that I had very specific requirements- that I had pets, needed a property quickly & because I lived 3 1/2 hours drive away couldn't view properties on the off chance. She kept me informed of properties as they came up & helped with the application process. She provided all the information I needed, arranged for me to go back & measure up & answered queries promptly. As a result I moved in with a week to spare on my timescale. Couldn't have asked for a better service.

Nancy was without doubt the nicest, most consistent and hardworking estate agent I've ever dealt with.
From our very first meeting, right up to a change of personal circumstances that prematurely ended our search - she looked after us with considerable professionalism, kindness and a steadfast determination to find us somewhere to live in the Twickenham area.
Of the ten or so lettings agents we engaged for our search, Nancy was the only one to maintain regular contact; she also secured us about five times the number of viewings than the other agencies (all of who provided an indifferent and lacklustre service across the board).
Nancy is a real star & deserves the highest praise for her work ethic and winning personality. My partner and I will miss our interactions with her but will not wait to get in touch should be looking to move to Twickenham again.

Was told that we would be informed if our offer had been accepted or not by the Friday, then by Saturday afternoon, to then be told it wouldn't be until Monday morning. Was told that we would be informed if our offer had been accepted or not by the Friday, then by Saturday afternoon, to then be told it wouldn't be until Monday morning. Monday morning comes along and they tell me the offer has been accepted, to then be told no as they need to reconsider (thinking we had agreed to 6 months upfront, when the letting agent and I had agreed to 3 months). We were told we would be updated on the results by Monday afternoon, and then delayed until Tuesday morning. Again, we were told that the offer had been accepted, so as agreed they took the holding fee for the property (�700) out of my account. Then a call back 3 or so hours later to say that due to miscommunication the offer would be declined. The refund now will not be paid into my account for 3-5 working days. Me and my partner are so disappointed as we had our hearts set on this place and to be told it had been accepted twice and for our hopes to be crushed was horrible.

Harriet Fox was fantastic when I rented out my flat in Twickenham. She and her team arranged an astonishing number of viewings and we received a good offer. Harriet was extremely professional and efficient - my emails were replied to quickly and calls were always returned asap. When I raised a small issue with her she dealt with it immediately. I was also very happy with the feedback I received on viewings. I would highly recommend Harriet for anyone looking to let their property.
