Having just completed on a sale with Cubitt and West Redhill Branch, I can honestly say I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.
1) We were lied to regarding our purchasers financial position in order to accept an offer, causing additional stress and concern.
2) Staff used my toilet with the door open in front of my wife.
3) Accused my wife of lying about the above.
4) Manager incredibly rude and inflammatory in all correspondence.
I understand many members of staff have left recently and started their own agencies in the area. I can understand why, and I wish I had done more research before selecting them at the time.
In short, please do yourselves a favour, and avoid the Redhill Branch of Cubitt and West.
Premium fees, for a significantly less than acceptable level of service.

Appalling service. We used the agency for 2 viewings. For the 1st one the agent just didn't show up, and there was no phone call or email from the agent advising they wouldn't be there. Appalling service. We used the agency for 2 viewings. For the 1st one the agent just didn't show up, and there was no phone call or email from the agent advising they wouldn't be there. Luckily, the vendors were at home, so they showed us around. For the 2nd viewing, we had the viewing arranged at 10.30. We got to the property on time, but there was no agent or vendors waiting for us. 10 minutes later I called the agency to ask what was going on and was told that they were on the other line calling me...any case, they said they would be running late, so we continued waiting for another 10 minutes. Then an agent arrived saying he actually didn't have keys for the property and was not aware that the tenants were not at the property... He then said that he didn't have signal on his mobile phone , so he needed to use our mobile phone to make a call to the office. There were no 'I'm sorry' or anything... It was just taken for granted. He had a chat with someone in the office which lasted for about 5 mins. And then we were told that the vendors are on their way to the property. We waited for 10 mins, no one showed up, so we just left and never spoke to this agency again!! Recommend avoiding dealing with them at any cost.

I have been letting my properly through Sam in Redhill for a few months now and am very pleased with the service, and the personal approach he takes to customers. I am living oversees so Sam is excellent at email communication and responding to me instantly regarding questions I have. He also sends me my account information via email and post so I can keep track of the incomings and outgoings. When there was an issue with a blind in the lounge, Sam was able to sort it out very quickly and for very cheap, so I did not have to deal with it whilst in South Africa. I would definitely recommend using cubitt and west to any prospective landlord.

I agree with the first review. Racheal attempted to pull the wool over my eyes. She is quite possibly the rudest person i have ever met. This woman is a compulsive liar and attempted to sell my home on the cheap to benefit a family member of her own. I strongly reccommend people not to use cubitt... Read Full Review

I must add that not all the branches are the same as the dorking branch currently manage two of my rental properties and have always been a pleasure to do business with.

I've dealt with the branch manager Rachel on numerous occassions. She helped my wife and I to buy our first property in Garlands Road a few years back and we have sinse sold through her twice. I've dealt with the branch manager Rachel on numerous occassions. She helped my wife and I to buy our first property in Garlands Road a few years back and we have sinse sold through her twice. If you are looking for someone who is honest and reliable Rachel says it how it is and gets the job done. She is upfront and truthful on price and even got slightly more than we expected this time around. Her knowledge of the area and market was paramount to us and her team are all mini versions of he. It seems to be a well run ship! Its hard to find honest people nowadays and had we not of set off for kent this time around, we'd definately cubitt and West again.

They stiched me up with a solicitor I didn't want to use, even though I told them I wanted to use my own, it turned out later the solicitor was paying them a referral fee, luckily the solicitor was honest enough too ... Most horrific selling/buying experience I've ever had because of Cubitt and West. They stiched me up with a solicitor I didn't want to use, even though I told them I wanted to use my own, it turned out later the solicitor was paying them a referral fee, luckily the solicitor was honest enough too point this out, but the agent wasn't. I only found out after they'd been instructed (by Cubitt). Still in the middle of it, am thinking of reporting them under the Bribery Act, because of the way they forced me to use their own solicitor. Plus the manager is rude, I've had a number of arguments with her over various things. She treats me like an idiot, thinking she can pull the wollover my eyes like I'm a first time buyer or something. She even refused to tell me who the seller's solicitor was, she said it was a 'conflict of interest' (!!!) I am never using them again, EVER, even if they have my dream house on their books. Never experienced anything like it in the several timesI've sold/bought housesbefore.
