Kind and polite... until they receive your payments. After that, forget about them. They won't be of any help, totally useless. They become very responsive again at check out, when they will find a way to deduct what they can from your deposit. Useless. Avoid....

First of all tell the truth upfront. Secondly provide some compensation, in case they fail to provide property on rent even after agreeing for the same.

What agent could do to change your mind?
The Agent must understand that the customer is a tenant. A branch manager like Andrea does not seem to have the business sense to understand who is and isn't a customer. A customer has the right to choose a service and the right to exit from the service when there is a need to. People like Andrea have left a indelible mark on my impression of letting agencies which needless to say remains negative. If she had displayed patience and politeness in her dealings with me, I would have been less stressed and my impression of them wold have been positive. But sadly this woman's behavior leaves me in bitter taste.
