No response in critical situations, no regard and care for their customers. Think twice before renting with them - you are highly likely to have frustrating experiences. i have been waiting for more than 1 year (!) for a roof repair....

Thieves! They have been illegally and without any excuse withholding my tenancy deposit for 2 months after the tenancy ended, although my former Landlord has since long ago given his consent for it to be returned in full! Stay away from Countrywide in Croydon/Bromley...

Same here, although it's 'only' been a month for me. I requested my deposit back in writing, agreed deductions with the landlord (because I had not choice), and filled in the paperwork. Bridgfords/Countrywide, York, have released my deposit from the Tenancy Deposit Scheme and banked it in their own business account. They keep bluffing when I chase it up, saying they're waiting for authorisation to release it, and yet the landlords have agreed for it to be released to me. They are simply just kee ...
