Communicate clearly Have a defined process and checklist for what shoud happen, when Respond to emails Remember information by making notes instead of asking the same question again and again Write the correct information on tenancy paperwork and check facts before providing incorrect information Instead of saying, \'I don\'t deal with that\' after taking our money, provide a nominated point of contact in an appropriate manner and follow through to ensure service is maintained.

Connells asked if I would accept an offer on my property. I told them the lowest I could go to was 129500. The member of staff who took the offer from the buyer told me that he would reduce the final fee from Connells from 2900 to 2500 if I accept 129000. I agreed and asked for it in writing. The ... Connells should have given me writing the amended fee when I asked, but because they did not they have had an extra 400+vat off of me, when the agent told me that he was autherised to reduce the fee.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
