We are property professionals established in Northamptonshire since 1975. Our services cover all aspects of residential property; from lettings and management to sales and buy-to-let investments.
Our lettings division manages over 1400 properties throughout the county, ranging from studio apartments to seven be
droom listed mansions. Our services are differentiated by very high standards of quality and we successfully cater to the needs of a very diverse clientele ranging from first time landlords to professional portfolio landlords and large land owners (including the Althorp Estate). This makes us one of the largest independent letting agents in the UK.
Our credentials, resources and network in the property industry give us a unique position, where we have access to various vendors, applicants and investors. This gives our sales division considerable advantage and enables us to negotiate sales very efficiently. Moreover, our vast portfolio of managed properties allows us to offer some great buy-to-let opportunities to investors.
We have offices in Northampton and Daventry. We are ARLA\/NFOPP members and as such are regulated by their strict code of conduct. We pride ourselves on our customer service and the experience of our qualified team. Majority of our team are qualified to the high NFOPP standard. We are also members of the TDS (so all deposits we hold are protected) and The Property Ombudsman, a well-recognised redress scheme.

Highly recommended. I've been with Chelton Brown as a landlord for about 8 years, starting with one buy-to-let property and increasing to seven. I've received outstanding service all the time, and I recommend them wholeheartedly. I communicate with the office almost exclusively by email; they reply rapidly and clearly. They let me know promptly when action is needed, and they have a network of reliable professional contractors. I have very little knowledge either of property or of finance, but Chelton Brown's efficiency and trustworthiness allow me to relax in the confidence that my investment is in safe hands. This online form only allows me to pick out two members of staff for special mention, but to be honest everyone I've dealt with in the Daventry office has been equally helpful and professional. Someone reading this review might think it's too good to be true, but I assure you it genuinely reflects my experience!

If I’ve had any issues, she has made sure that the correct people are contacted asap and if they’re in need of contacting again, she’s very determined to get the job sorted, an example of great customer care.
In terms of this issue, my boiler had lost pressure, with me none the wiser to fix it. Upon calling Caroline, she talked me through several options to self-fix - to no avail. She then contacted a local engineer to fix the issue. Despite this, it took an extra day for the engineer but again, through no fault of Caroline or Chelton brown. The issue has now been resolved and everything is running exactly as it should be.

Me and my husband had countless concerns regarding what needed fixing to our property and had already spoken to an estate agent to then have to speak to another one who got the ball rolling within 24 hours. When questioned a couple of weeks later as to why the work still hadnt been done caroline was onto it within the hour there was exactly 3 minutes to me sending an email and her ringing me and leaving me a message within 4 days the problem was fixed. It would have been sooner if both myself and caroline wasnt messed around. There was constant daily emails seeing if the work had been done and asking if we were ok. Myself and my husband are very patient people but there was a health and safety issue with the problem that needed fixing and when caroline was told about the accident she acted straight away and like I say within 4 days the problem had been fixed. An amazing estate agent and deserves lots of credit.
