Greenock branch. I took up employment with IBM Greenock in August 2009 - IBM has a deal with Castle Estates which means CE receives a truckload of international new starts and provides them with the worst service and properties possible. Staff is very nice right until you sign the contract. I can confirm that they send contractors with keys entirely unannouced. I have lived in the area ever since and strangely am yet to meet a single person who has received their entire deposit back - I fel...

What agent could do to change your mind?
Being respectful, answering to queries and executing repairs swiftly, not breaking into the house without notice and giving at least SOMEONE a deposit back wholly

Reading the review it would appear that you not only have an issue with Castle Estates but Inverclyde as a region. Castle Estates has no arrangement with any employer in the Area and only a handful of tenants working for IBM. If you feel thare is any impropriety you should raise this with IBM direct or Strathclyde Police. It should also be noted that the majority of our Landlords no longer wish to take on IBM employees due to them appearing to have a culture of non payment of rent and damage to ....

We find it very difficult to respond to this post due to lack of information about which property and which tenancy it refers to. As a general reply therefore we would advise that all tenants are given a complaints procedure and notice that if they are not happy with heating etc in a property then they can submit a complaint to the PRHP panel Castle Estates does not deliberately refuse to deal with tenants complaints but on many occasions Landlords fail to respond to requests timeously and we....

If you see a flat of this agency, go away! I am still searching for a procedure to make a complaint. If someone can help me......

The tenant gave notice and as per his tenancy agreement we required access for viewings which he refused due to him having unauthorised occupiers living with him. The contractor was trying to carry ot an Annual Gas Safety check. He was advised of the date and that they would have keys if he was not available. The visit relates to his check out the date and time notified to him some four weeks prior to the check out. We have a complaints procedure if tenants are not happy which is detailed on....
