I have had a terrible experience with Bridgfords. The apartment was poorly maintained and not clean when I moved in. The boiler was hanging from the wall with water dripping from the overflow tank when turned on. This is actually a criminal matter but have had no apology or financial reimbursement for staying in a hotel after moving moving in due to the lack of hot water. The ventilation did not work. The shower hoses were all rusted. There was a horrendous smell of something dead in the bathroo...

Rented a flat from Bridgefords for just under two years. Their fees were extremely high and they did nothing to warrant them. Clearly the whole company is run on the basis of only doing things if people are shouting about them. Communication was consistently awful and their new app for fixing issues in the property completely failed as they never responded to them...

Would never use Bridgfords again, It took over 2 months to get my deposit back, mainly because they created a dispute over the flooring, which they blamed on me, they also lied about when the flooring was laid, which scheme my deposit was protected under. It turned out the flooring was down to the previous tenant and was there when I started my tenancy, even though they claimed the flooring was brand new when i moved in...

We've had a terrible experience with Bridgfords and cannot stress enough that they should be avoided. We found our dream apartment in Leeds. The viewing was very quick under 4 minutes actually being in the apartment. The letting agent was ill prepared did not not much about the apartment and did not have any energy efficiency information with her. 1. I think based on other reviews and my own experience, they are the highest charging agency in the North West of the UK. Almost double , if not triple in some cases. โ€š£300 for single tenancy 2. Ever heard an agency charge you as much as โ€š£75 for producing an inventory when you move in? Now you found one....

The worst customer experience I've ever received. Incompetent, unhelpful and rude. We really liked the flat but Bridgefords made it impossibe for us to stay there. I would seriously recommend using a different estate agent....

I was a tenant and secured the property for 6 month lease through Bridgfords. Lettings team were fantastic and efficient up until the moment they handed me the keys. From this moment on the service was the worst I have ever received by a country mile. I informed them of several maintenance issues with the property at the beginning of the tenancy - despite repeated requests to get these fixed the majority were not completed the entire time I was at the property. What agent could do to change your mind?
I think Bridgfords are probably severely understaffed for the properties they maintain. When I got any attention from the maintenance manager she wasn\'t too bad. All that was needed was more communication and more following through on promises (e.g. \'I\'ll get the maintenance man to come round\' and \'I\'ll call you in half an hour\' - these promises were never fulfilled)

I have had better services in student homes. When it came for signing for the property the staff where very friendly and nice but as soon as that was over you see their true colours. When we moved in we were promised the flat would be clean, the walls would be painted & everything should be services and working correctly. Within the first 2 weeks off moving in we reported the boiler was not working. After calling them repeatedly to only get told ยขรขโ€šยฌร…โ€œwe will call you backยขรขโ€š...

Terrible service. The worst letting agency. Always are late and when come do not apologize. Had a bad experience with them in West Yorkshire. The staff is lazy. Workers do not do their work how they suppose to do. Hope never have anything with them in the future. And as I see I am not the first person who is really disappointed. Very sad....

We\'ve been renting with Bridgfords (previously LS1) for two years. They have not fixed things which were listed on the inventory form as to be fixed since we have moved in, despite us asking several times. We have ended up fixing some ourselves and leaving the rest.
