We are looking for a second agent in order to sell our flat. The agent picked up the keys on Friday night, took them home then rang in sick (understandably unforeseen) on the Monday without the office making ANY attempt to sort out the situation. We then had to cancel a viewing with a prospective buyer at Monday lunchtime because the keys unavailable to our current estate agents! So unprofessional....

Housing is an essential part of living, most other estate agents appreciate that in order to survive suitable and affordable accommodation is available, whereas all the morons at blundells care about is rinsing you for as much money as possible. I have had many successful experiences with OTHER estate agents, but these were actually a joke, ridiculous fees, awful customer service, just genuinely a disgrace. We were a buyer of a premium property in a very desirable area. Any time these had come up previously they would go to sealed bids - as we expected this one to. Quite amazingly while we were viewing, we were informed by the vendor that someone had offered asking and they had agreed. No further discussion or negotiation to be had. Ok I thought I will discuss with Blundells as I also wished to offer asking - in fact I was keen to offer more if required. Spoke to the agent who simply pushed me back...

Terrible experience: stressful and I lost money. Also a data protection breach. I lined up a rental property with Blundells, paid the good faith fee on 4th April and was assured I could move in on Tuesday 18th April. On Thursday 13th April (just before the bank holidays on Friday 14th and Monday 17th April) I was told the property was no longer available. Also found this blundells to be utterly incompetent. The agent didnt turn up for the viewing meaning we had to be shown around by the previous tenants, they failed to send the all various forms and contracts (either by not sending them at all or by sending them to the wrong email address) until we contacted them about it for the third time, and caused a lot of stress by (as the previous commenter also experienced) breaching privacy laws and giving our details to Spark. Avoid this letting agent at all costs to protect your information security & bank details! My Partner and I rented a property with agent approx 4 months ago, and despite reading the terrible reviews we went ahead as we needed to move. We viewed multiple properties on the market with Blundells. The marketing materials were good quality. Their communications were good. Once we had put in an offer, they kept us informed (e.g. if someone else bid more than us). All their staff were friendly and helpful on the phone....

Unusual selling practice. The property went onto sealed bids. The highest bid came after the deadline and was an "an acquantance" of one of the partners. There was a suspicion of arrogance "*" and certainly not in the clients' interest. Reading the reviews it still seems they are getting away with it....

Please NEVER use Blundells! They are extremely rude, disrespectful and in whole, USELESS! They allowed my landlord to enter my property unannounced, leave the place in a mess, pass the book when it came to dealing with repairs, and then hung up on me once i asked to complain about them. Terrible in every way! Don\'t give them your business. Been looking for a property to rent in sheffield for months now and unfortunately Blundells seem to have to best ones with the worst service! (not just the branch above but ALL Blundells branches) never had a good experience with them.
