Bluedoor have managed the property I rent for seven years. Greg has been helpful in every way, a very professional yet approachable company I would recommend to anyone. Even though due to my property being sold on they no longer manage it, they are still around to offer me advice if I need it, very happy and consider greg a friend now....

We were looking for a lease for six months ( very difficult in England !) Blue Door has helped us. The cottage was newly renovated. We have rented with via Bluedoor for the last 3.5 years and have found Greg to be very supportive and helpful. Always at the end of the phone when we have had questions and always acts quickly on the very rare occasions we have needed a workman in. Blue Door; and, Greg Simpson in particular have been very responsive over the last 4 years. Despite being extremely busy at times, he has always ensured that our reasonable requests have been dealt with promptly. After renting through a variety of letting agents within the past several years it has been a breath of fresh air to deal with Blue Door. Where other agents (including another popular one in Abingdon I've had the unfortunate displeasure renting with) charge a range of abnormally high fees both to the tenant and landlord (application fee, agreement fee, renewal fee etc), Blue Door has a one-time, flat rate no nonsense fee which is considerably lower than anyone else I have rented through. I\'ve been dealing with Blue Door for the last two years and am very happy with them. Every issue or query I have raised with them they have dealt with quickly and with minimal fuss. They have been very accommodating with a recent change in tenant and have explained the whole process clearly. I have been renting a flat from Blue Door for two years. They were really friendly and helpful. There were no communication problems with my agent - Gregory. I have experienced problems with lack of communication between agents in other chain-letting agencies. They are there when you need them and they leave you in peace when you do not need them. I am 6 months in to my tenancy via Blue Door Lettings in Abingdon and whilst i was pleasantly surprised by Greg\'s attitude and assurances prior to moving into our property the post sales service has been anything but good. I came to an agreement with the landlady because it was best for both of us. Things actually get done now in good time. If you ask her why she agreed to liasing directly with me then you will know it is for exactly the same reason - you dont respond unless it's in your interest to. None of the other tenants complained because it only takes one member of a household to manage queries with the lettings agent, i can assure you that they all share the same views as I do. The only agency I have ever used that genuinely care about the tenants. Greg was really nice, showed us round the property and never put any pressure on us to decide. The service was very efficient, we viewed the property on a Tuesday and moved in on the Friday, their admin team was very quick, and Rachel is very quick to respond to queries and seemed to answer on any day of the week that I contacted her! My wife and I have found Greg, Rachel and the rest of the team at Blue Door to be unrivalled in their commitment and dedication to us as tenants. They fully respect our privacy whilst at the same time being available to help us with enquiries or issues that may arise, at times beyond conventional office hours. I found Greg to be honest and hard working when it came to advertising and showing prospective buyers around. He gave good honest advice and the property was sold within 4 weeks (including the week of heavy snow). My partner and I feel we can trust him fully and he always seems to achieve what he says he can. I have just tried to speak to Greg regarding a property being marketed to let. as I have a client from Germany searching. Once I explained I was a relocation consultant and who I was searching for he gave me a, quite frankly, nonsense spiel about how there was already a client interested but they wanted it unfurnished but the landlord didn\'t want to, and anyway Bluedoor deal with my client\'s company directly. we have rented a property through blue door abingdon for almost 3 years,Greg was the agent that showed us the house on the market place and dealt with the paperwork everything went smoothly with him,he is a really nice down to earth person and it easy to deal with him,we moved out from their property last month and even then Greg managed to do the paperwork without any complication,on the other hand there is another staff member of blue door a lady whom in my opinion is quite rude sometimes.over...

The lady in the office who you think is rude is not rude but firm. If tenants don't pay their rent on time or return keys when asked then you will get a call from someone who politely but firmly lets you know that this is a problem. We would not be doing our job to protect landlords if we didn't take this kind of action so I am sure you will appreciate that we cannot let things like that slide without making contact with tenants by phone or email. Also, just so you know, I don't do the paperw....
