I arrived 15 minutes before an arranged viewing on a rented property. The lettings agent was at the property already showing a couple around before me. As the couple left, so did the agent. I rang the office and I was advised that the property was now already let agreed and I didn't confirm by appointment by text although I had no text from them and rang them the previous day....

What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent should have waited around for my appointment rather than driving off. They claimed to have text me, I did not receive any text.

Big row with the landlord over the deposit after I'd done some painting. I was angry at the time but to be fair Belvoir helped get it all sorted out so everyone was happy. They made me see sense and also made the landlord compromise too so I didn't have to wait ages to get my money back from the deposit people. Sorry if I lost my rag with you all....

Didn\'t think about agents fees - just liked the property. They told me about fees up front though and didn\'t spring any surprises on me.

I selected this agent in 2008 based on online reviews, as it seemed they understood their role was as the LANDLORDS agent (my previous agent could not grasp this). Their pricing is clear too with no 'small print'. I have not been disappointed - when issues have arisen with tenants or tenancies, Belvoir defend my interests robustly, or if my position is unreasonable they tell me in a sensible and constructive manner. I am disgusted at the way Belvoir acted as my lettings agent. They never called back, they never email back and when i moved out it was a battle to get my deposit back which i am still going through. the property was disgustingly dirty when i moved in yet they accused me of it being dirty when i moved out and it was spotless. also landlords beware they never come round and check the property although they do say they will in their contract. i was accused of putting things up on the wall and i ne...

I attach photos of oven and bath at check in (all clean) and the same at check out (dirty). These are just an example. Whether you like my agent or whether you don't, your review regarding the cleanliness of my property is wholly inaccurate.....

I have properties in a number of UK towns and this agent is one of the best I use to assist me. They do things properly and sensibly, and represent my interests well. When there are issues with tenants, which is inevitable in my experience as a landlord, this Belvoir branch is as good as anyone I\'ve found at getting things sorted out - I don\'t feel I have to get involved myself in Northampton, whereas I do in other towns sometimes....

Will never use again and will advice anyone not to use belvior in Northampton. They never reply to e-mails. When we moved in we were told nothing! We were given the keys and send sent on our way. We didn\'t know if there was a alarm at the property, how to work cooker, heating, the place was a absolute mess!, I took photos as I\'m dreading what trouble I\'ll have when we move out! My agent has pointed me towards this. You say "the place was an absolute mess". I attach a video of my property done just before move in showing the "absolute mess". People will hence be able to judge for themselves.....

Disgusting bunch of cowoys. Spent over 6 months will no heatiwng and 2 monbths with no hot water not too mention damp and mould created due to no hearing and then walks and curtain poers all falling away with the walk due to damp. Never even rectified, had to move oy over christmas and winter to temporary accomodation and at our ezpense with our 2 children. Then after taking further action they issued us with 2 weeks notice and then relet property out with us still in it. STAY WELL CLEAR!!!!!!...

Well after being here 10 months the service has been absolutely absurd, they have abolished every conversation we have ever had unless it suits them, they do not document the repairs until 10 months later, and they also serve you with a section 21 the day after you have been broken into, a bit strange there, its almost like a set up. Do not trust belvoir, my health has deteriorated ever since I took this place on with worry and stress, they only want there charges and rent, they don't give a dam...

As the landlord of the property mentioned above I have been made aware of this website by my agent. I am very disappointed that the tenant is given a forum in which to make such wildly inaccurate suggestions. I certainly support Belvoir in seeking to present a more accurate version of what has actually transpired here. My only criticism of my agent is that they failed to realise my tenant also removed the internal doors from my flat, as well as the carpet! Whilst I am clearly not happy with what....
