Belvoir found a tenant for me the day I put the house on the market with them, as a first time landlord they were helpful and professional, keeping me up to date with what was happening. Their rates are reasonable and I feel comfortable leaving the property in their hands to manage. The inventory was thoroughly prepared and the paperwork easy to understand & clear. RIP OFF LETTING AGENTS AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE We let 2 properties over 2 years with them as landlord. we were invoiced over £900 repairs to one boiler. later found out nothing was actually replaced, boiler in worse condition than it was because works were carried out by untrained workmen. Had to stil pay £900 and more. A nightmare to deal with very unprofessonal conduct throughout. Will try to invoice you unnecessary work at twice the price that was not authorized by the landlord. I'm so glad I read this thread, was about to let a flat with them but was looking online to see the best way of getting out of paying the ILLEGAL TENANCY FEES - frankly I encountered enough of this carry-on when I was a student, not prepared to even entertain it these days. Phew! ...

Worst Agency Ever!!! AVOID COMPLETELY NO MATTER HOW NICE THE STAFF!!!! Behind the scenes the awful and unprofessional Director sits looking for ways to rip off people whether it's a landlord, tenant, contractor or even his own staff! Perfectly decent service from Belvoir Northampton. The finding of a tenant and management of the tenancy has proceeded quickly and without major incident. That said, I'd expect nothing less - they have met my expectations. I like to use an ARLA agent because of the additional security it gives me....
