I am a landlord with Belvoir Lettings Newcastle and have one property with them and I came to use them when they bought Citypadz who I used previously for my property. Communication from them is disappointing I use their fully managed service and never know in any month how much net rent I will receive from them as until I get a statement showing what has been deducted I don't know what has been taken off for repairs. The agents were very helpful when we lived here, at the end of tenancy they gave us good advice on how to leave the property to get the full deposit back, they even gave us the contact number of the cleaner they use, who we used to bring the property back up to a good standard and we were given our full deposit back. I would definitely use them again....

We had been let down my another agent and noticed that Belvoir were renting a apartment in the area we wanted . Sarah took us around a lot of apartments which took over half a day and nothing was too much trouble.The staff in the Belvoir office were extremely good at getting our referencing done very quickly and managed to get us in by our leaving date. Terrible staff, they didn't give to me the code for house alarm, the key for the small gate in the back of the house. I waited 2 months for fix the shower, every time that I tried to communicate by email there was always a problem. I was really struggling to find a property to rent at really short notice as another agent let me down on the day I was due to sign my contract, I went in to the office explained my situation a the staff really went all out to help find somewhere that suited my needs and in an extremely short space of time, they carried out the referencing in one day and made sure the apartment was ready for me to move into. Feel like the company has provided terrible service. Handled the initial viewing very well. Asked to do references and credit check for £120- left it to the last day possible that I could move in (they agreed that move in date would be no problem), and despite being reminded twice only managed to complete it on time by hassling my new employer for a reference in one day. I would throughly advise future tenants to seriously rethink about whether they should rent a property through Newcastle Central Belvoir lettings. Myself and my roommate are students on a professional course and the service we recieved from this agents that claims to "Let us do all the work" was absolutly appauling. i had such a bad experience with this letting agency, they sent someone to check the fire hazard in this apartment i was letting and the person who checked it disconnected the gas from the apartment as well as the oven claiming that it has a fire hazard and dangerous (this happened after around 8 months with me living in this place) then i contacted them to tell them about this and the sent someone after a week to reconnect the gas , i was frozen this week they left me with no gas so i can\'t tu...

i had such a bad experience with this letting agency, they sent someone to check the fire hazard in this apartment i was letting and the person who checked it disconnected the gas from the apartment as well as the oven claiming that it has a fire hazard and dangerous (this happened after around 8 months with me living in this place) then i contacted them to tell them about this and the sent someone after a week to reconnect the gas , i was frozen this week they left me with no gas so i can\'t turn on the heating !, and the landlady of this property refused to fix the oven , they kept promising me to fix the oven for 2 months ! so i was left without an oven or a cooker in this apartment, both the letting agency and the landlady refused to pay me any refund regarding leaving me with no cooker. i told them i will leave this apartment 15 days before the contract ends and they said since there was many problems the won\'t charge me thing for leaving this bad place which costs me 595 GBP a month !!! for not having a descent place to cook for 2 months ! i said that i want the full deposit back and they told me that i won\'t get it full because the landlady wants to charge me 180 GBP for cleaning the place (that i cleaned before i left), fixing the table (that was already broken when i came in), and fixing the door (i didn\'t understand what door they are talking about since the door was working well and i didn\'t break the door, did I !!! ) i think this company is not protecting the tenant , they didn\'t help me or protect me from the landlady who took 595 GBP a month !!!! for 12 months ! just because I am an international student they expected that I won\'t fight for this ! also what they said that they can\'t do anything to help me is stupid because i paid them agency fees when i signed the contract , also their names on the contract and i will give them zero starts on this review website , and i hope all students will avoid renting any property from this agency who cares only about the landlords not the people living in the places, sending this message to all students worldwide googling this agency hoping they will read it. cheers

The only price shown in our property advert is the calendar monthly rental cost of the property. The Property Ombudsman complaints procedure timescales.



CODE OF PRACTICE



We have 3 working days to acknowledge a written complaint



We then have 15 working days to give a FULL RESPONSE explaining the option to escalate the complaint to the TPO.



We then have 8 weeks to complete a full investigation and issue a final viewpoint letter.



These timescales are the same if the complainant comes directly to us.
