Where shall i start. Oh This so called Manager of Belvoirs branch in Hall st nearly took me out of business. Firstly built a good relationship paid on time, then once i started chasing for overdue payments, the work load stopped and guess what NO PAYMENTS WERE MADE. We had to resort to court... Bit of a mixed review. First the negative. I phoned through to Belvoir to ask questions about letting my property out. Things such as fees, different services provided. My first phone through was picked up by Elaine(?). I was told that no one was in the office who could help me right now but she... Read Full Review

I would never recommend this letting agent to anybody. They are so unprofessional and literally take your money and run as it is clear from other reviews. Major Mahil is a con-man he falsely advertises his properties upon viewing and will push you to pay. The house we are living in is of a very... Read Full Review

20 Sept 2019Agree, totally. Major starts by presenting himself as helpful, but he is anything but. Had exactly the same experience, being ignored, not fixing things. Appalling customer service. Truly cannot echo ...

This letting agent is absolutely awful. They are very helpful when it comes to viewings and taking your money to conduct the necessary 'checks' which appear to take place overnight. However, once the money and keys are exchanged they are not interested in any problems related to the property, they... Read Full Review
Been honest, open and 100% truthful about their knowledge of the property, misrepresentation does nobody any favours. Quickly fixed all the problems with the property (there are multiple problems) and fixed them to a high standard. Don\'t ignore customer\'s calls, it is unprofessional, rude and pathetic and certainly not the kind of service I would expect to be paying for!
They charge you extortionate fees and the 'checks' seem to happen overnight. I think they pocket the money and hand over the keys in my opinion.

The initial stages of renting a flat in Birmingham were quite painless for me thanks to Belvoir's speed and efficiency; it only took three days from first viewing to getting the keys in hand. The team were professional, courteous, and accommodating - overall a great letting... Read Full Review

I was a bit of a pain asking many questions. Belvoir went out of their way to accommodate. All properties are live. Mine was instantly removed from the internet once i leased it. This is unusually refreshing for an ea. Very trustworthy company. I dealt with 3 others who could not be trusted.... Read Full Review

I am sorry but these other reviews must have been uploaded by the belvoir's own agents. I am a current tenant and I have found them to be a terrible company to deal with, they are absolutely useless. They left me without a front door key for and for the first 3 days I had to climb over the back... Read Full Review
Tell the truth during viewings, respond to email / inquiries, do what a letting agent is supposed to do and sort out issues with the property. Provide the same level of courtesy to customer care they afford potential to their actual tenants who have paid the £215 fee and pay their wages and pay for Mr Mahils very expensive car.
