I recently left a property that was linked with Beals in Eastleigh. From the start I had issues with getting the paperwork or inventory agreed upon and it was given to me a month late. Throughout the year a continuous change in staff made it impossible to maintain who to contact when required. Upon leaving I was not given 24 hours notice prior to people viewing the property and had to call myself to ask why this was not the case. What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent needs to drastically improve their communication skills across the Eastleigh branch. They need to have clear policies laid out for leaving a property. No action with deposits should be taken unless all parties on the contract have agreed to it. Need to make customers aware if there is a delay in the processing of paperwork and why. Needs to improve on communication skills when talking to customers and nothe have a nonplussed attitude.
Comment on agent fees
The house is far too expensive. It was a new build that was poorly maintained. No plumbing for a dishwasher. You were not able to have a shower in the master bathroom as the walls would have be ruined as the waterproofing ie. tiling was virtually non existent. The overall space was minimal and deceptively large when the property was empty. There was noise every night through the thin walls from the neighbours. I would say the property is only worth ‚£750 a month.
