Totally disorganised, unprofessional shower of shop assistants in suits ! Avoid at all costs . They don't even lie well when covering for each other pretending to be out of the office.. .you can hear them discussing excuses on the phone . Do yourself a huge favour and use a real agent with knowledgeable staff even if it costs more . This lot are hopeless and lose you money ! ...

Hi Laura, I totally agree with your statement. They are extremely unorganised and don't care about tenants. I've made a formal complain at the beginning of my tenancy and one of the answers I've got from them is that they don't work for the tenants, but for the landlords. They have no shame in saying that. This has been my worst rent experience ever. I hope I had never dealt with this company. By the way, we call it Barnard Marcus, but they also call themselves Sequencehomes. This doesn't smel ...

My, oh my - what a familiar story! We had almost the same experience - except it was worse! Firstly they forced their greasy 'mortgage broker' on us, and then they upped the price! So we told them where to go. Do not EVER use this bunch of sharks - they have no ethics and are TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL! ...

What agent could do to change your mind?
Fee supposed to be knocked down as that was one of the promise from agent. That didn't happens. And as a agency till too much for service provided.

I sympathise greatly. We almost bought a property through this agent. I say 'almost' because they fooled us around so much that we eventually lost the house, after having spent hundreds already on lawyers fees. Do yourself a favour and AVOID this bunch of amateurs And charlatans - especially the sleazy 'mortgage broker' who has the ethics of a slug! ...

We had a nightmare experience with this agency and their employee Guy in particular. We had three weeks to move from Yorkshire to Sutton and we pre-arranged with Guy to view properties on a weekend (the only time we could both make it to London). One can imagine how much we spent on trains and the hotel in London to be there that weekend. It all started well - we were shown a property that we loved, we signed all necessary paperwork in their office and agreed on our moving date...BUT...while we were still on the train to the hotel, Guy rang us and informed that the landlord of this flat did not in fact own the property and he asked the agency to look for tenants while he was doing his paperwork. We were not informed about that by Guy when we first saw the place and when we signed all the documents. Nevertheless, Guy asked us not to worry and promised to sort it our for us. After not hearing from him for a week after that weekend, we started chasing him on the phone but he would just ignore our calls for TWO DAYS (he would either be on the phone, with another client, or in training). We then just rang one of his colleagues, who told us that there was no way we could get the property by the date we needed (and we have a feeling that Guy new about that all the way through). They did not take the admin fee, but they wasted our time and money for our trip. Guys treated us very unprofessionally and we would NEVER go with this agency again.
