Horrible and stressful experience, even if you like the property please do not rent through acron. the property was for £1000 for unfinished I offer £1050 to give me fully furnished flat in May 2012. I have rented properties via lettings agents for many years. This is my first time with ACORN, and this has been my WORST experience ever. They have been very inefficient in dealing with a rental application- after promising a fast and efficient service (and happily taking £350 pounds, non-refundable , from me). Acorn are by far the worst estate agency I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. |As a landlord I would advise both landlords and tenants to avoid having to deal with them at all costs. Their property management team is appauling, I have received the worst customer service levels I've ever encountered.....

I am delighted to inform that after a long disappointing experience with the previous agents managing my property finally the present property manager (Ms Katie McGill) had responded to my inquiries with diligence and pleasantly. To retain clients at Acorn this way of treatment should be encouraged and rewarded. Although it is perhaps too early to assess her performance but I am hoping with your appropriate actions this could be an example to all others....

We have been dealing with Gemma for some time now as our Property Manager and has found her to be very prompt in comming back with solutions to various our queries, etc. This was very evident during the recent change of tenancy where she handled it very efficiently. I\'ve been in the property for a few months now and anything that has needed doing has been dealt with promptly and courteously by Michelle. When the drain was blocked outside and the front garden was being flooded with foul smelling water she got Thames Water round the same day. We have had a very difficult relationship with Acorn since letting our property through them. The first tenant would not leave after rent arrears and threatend violence when confronted but eventually left , the second tenants were ok but we needed to spend over £4000.00 on redecoration and refurbishment when they left. the latest tenant has been a nightmare where the rent situation got so bad court proceedings were looming and eviction paperwork delivered but the situation has since improv...

Erdal Kacar and the other 10 individuals that I have dealt with are some of the very worst in terms of customer service that I have experienced. I have been sytematicaly passed on to others rather than deal with quite simple issuses. I have let my property through them for over 2 years, in that time I have had very little time to deal with this property myself. I worked in the property maintenance section customer service is not their strong point. I was always getting told off for spending to much time talking to one customer (I was trying to resolve issues tenants/landlords had).they have a very very high staff turnover staff are overworked and only receive half hour lunch which is short considering the excessive calls received....

Bad lettings management service -ever changing property managers, no continuity. Failed to conduct 6 monthly inspection on time . When eventually did, 3 months late, the report was written in such bad english with bad grammar that it was unclear as to whether there was a leak in the flat or not.
