I've been told to pay for the first 3 months of tenancy agreement in advance including 2 months deposit before viewing the property. That's ok. However, as I am an International student, and I am not familiar with some staff. I surprised that, I found the the contract mentioned the payment quarterly, and no body informed about that before viewing the property :( In general. I like the staff they were friendly and helpful, I'm just surprised about payment quarterly....

I strongly recommend you to avoid dealing with this silly agency . They look down at their customers and their customer service is rubbish . They are really the worst agents I have ever seen. As their admission fees and charges are the highest in the market . They are liars and disrespectful. My honest advice to not even think to inter their office...

This is the worst agency I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with! They do not honour their agreements and have an utterly shocking approach to customer service. Contracts mean nothing to them, they will do whatever they want regardless of what they have agreed to do (on paper or verbal). All I can say is I have never ever experienced anything as bad as Accord. * They do not understand what customer service is. They fail on a daily basis! They just want money in the bank. Charges are highest in the market and appear to be for things nobody else charges. When signed the contract we were not human any more. Service was horrible from that moment on. I had to wait 5 hours! for them to agree to accept my husbands signature electronically before releasing the keys. I have been living in rented accommodation for over 8 years with a variety of companies and I can safely say I have never received such appalling and unprofessional service as I have from Accord. Laura Withington, Property Administrator, is a rare blend of incompetence and bad faith. It would have been enough that the agency resumed the cleaning service, but there is an open attitude to dismiss the customer and ignore my requests. It is a lack of respect and a waste of my time.

This is the third time I am using this agent for a let only for my flat in Birmingham. I had no real problems the first two times (about 4 years ago). After finding an ideal flat to rent online we arranged a Viewing with accord. The member of staff didn\'t turn up for the viewing even though we had traveled a long way and were drenched in rain. We asked the tenants if we could view it anyway and luckily they were nice enough to let us. I would advise anyone against using Accord, they don\'t seem to know what they\'re doing. Despite taking a huge admin fee from us, they did nothing at all during the year as the landlord wanted to manage the rental himself. Would not recommend going with this agency at all! Our land lady managed the flat so if there was any problems we had to speak to her. Can you tell me if you managed to get your deposit back? I am in the same situation with the same agency and i left the house almost 3 months ago. They do not respond to my e-mails, they don't say anything about the deposit over the phone. please, let me know how you solved this problem.....
