What agent could do to change your mind?
A better attitude to us poorer folk and the ability to actually do their job instead of leaving yours truly to pick up the slack.

Why bother paying for something that I could have done myself.
Awful awful awful. Condescending and are not bothered about you once they grasp their hands onto your property. The gentlemen that I have dealt with at the branch have been okay to speak to however it is a certain woman who works there that treated us with such disdain and condescension. I understand that the property wasn't a PREMIUM property and six figures, far from it!! But looking down your nose in such a superior manner does not afford respect on our part. Unfortunately, we were not paying for their services to be treated like this regarded of whether we were selling a mansion or caravan in Rhyl. Ideas above ones station I believe. If you want a move that is supposed to take 6 weeks take 4 months go for Abbotts Dereham, if you want to be promised the earth and receive a turd, go for Abbotts! A perfect opportunity to try your hand at being an estate agent as they never seem to bother!!!

sort the problems out rather than reply to a letter of complaint with a letter just covering their own back.

we've had a large list of issues since moving into our rented house, ranging from blocked drains(10 weeks) damp walls which now have black mould, a front door which barely opens and closes,to lesser items such as internal doors not shutting and no bind when we moved in . some of the items have been rectified but the damp and blocked drains seem to be ignored. we've sent letters in and had several phone conversations with several different managers but the latest response is thats how it is!!
we've been in the house 12 weeks and have had nothing but problems, we're now on the verge of getting environmental health involved,
when we moved in the gas safe check hadn't been done because the staff didn't want to put any money on the gas meter to complete the gas check "because we won't get it back" so this was down to us to wait in the property for it to be completed whilst we were trying to move our belongings in.
not impressed when we're paying £750 p/m rent.
we will not be using or recommending this estate agents again
