Ace Relocations Ltd, 70 Upper Richmond Road, London
Would you use this agent again? No

I used AceRelocations in an attempt to find something semi-permanent/permanent having just got a job in Wimbledon. I went to a few viewings two which the agent (*) only made it to half of the viewing, I was shown round by the existing tenants, which in itself is very unprofessional. AceRelocations were able to offer me a short one month tenancy in a lovely property with reduced rent as a last resort due to the fact that I was now to become homeless. The tenants already living in the property wer

The Letting Co Falkirk, 7 York Lane, Falkirk
Would you use this agent again? No

Unprofessional, deceitful, inconsiderate.
I was a landlord who contracted with the Letting Co last year. As soon as I agreed on the let, it was nothing but problems.
Never answered any phone calls, had to physically go to the office to get anything done.
I was asked to pay VAT (the contract stated '€˜all agency fees are VAT free'€“ I was told it was a mistake in the contract and waited four months for a new one -€“ nothing was corrected).
- Tenants were not checked pr

Nicholas Humphreys, 26 Oakfields Way, Solihull
Would you use this agent again? No

Lived in a two bed property which was let by the essays agents for myself and my daughter. Was an old flat with dated fixtures and fittings. House was filthy when I moved in needed a clean including walls which had dirt marks from the previous tenants. Intercom didn't work so I had to run up and down with a three year old child everytime the door rang. I was physically assaulted by the alcoholic neighbour because I didn't put my bin out one time. After the incident with the neighbour I was told

Reeds Rains, 35 Pepper Street, Nantwich
Would you use this agent again? No

Terrible, ended up changing to a different agent after months of disappointment from this branch. John came round to do the initial visit & promised me they would spend time taking good photographs, I would always get feedback from viewings & that they would promote my house enthusiastically. None of this happened.
The pictures were dreadful, once I had made the decision to go with Reeds Rains, John turned up & rushed around my property, not bothering to position anything, turn any lights on/off

Connells, 19 High Street North, Dunstable
Would you use this agent again? No

Avoid! -We were seriously left out of pocket by Connells in Dunstable.

The situation was that we had found a new home through Connells in Dunstable, but still had to find a buyer for our property.

We received in writing that our offer had been accepted, but we also agreed that it was only fair that the property could remain on the open market whilst we found a buyer and they would keep us informed of any interest in the property

Over a period of six weeks, we kept Connells updated on the pr

North Oxford Property Services, 47 Walton Street, Oxford
Would you use this agent again? No

Terrible. Miscommunication, or a lack of even trying to communicate properly. We had a lot of situations where the head tenant was told different things than the rest of us, which led to many frustrating moments.

We were told we were fine to move in, but on the move in date, we were refused. It took a while to work out why we were not allowed to move in, but it turned out that one of the hopeful tenants hadn't provided one piece of the paperwork (although we were previously told that that was f

That Property Limited, 5 Orchard Close,, Wilmslow
Would you use this agent again? No

First of all, I envy That Property Ltd for trying their best in running a business that consists of 1-2 persons. You can meet the full team here:-

Whilst we had a number of problems with them, some minor, some not so much, I'll just describe a few. When we initially moved into our house we immediately noticed small bits of glass in the downstairs corridor. This was trailing from a bedroom in which you could tell a window had previously been smashed (due to a robbery).

The landlord had han

Would you use this agent again? No

Hopefully this will help respective tenants/landlords...avoid avoid avoid.

I have been in a property for 4 years and previously was dealt with by IMS. Leaders took over around 2 years ago. I have never reported a problem previously but I had a leak in my sink and rang them so it could be replaced. This was reported in November 2016 and we are now at the end of January and it has still not been replaced. In that time, I have been promised phone calls that were never returned. I have had 3 diff

Castles (Coventry), 109 New Union Street, Coventry
Would you use this agent again? Yes

My friends & I rented our student property through Castles in both our 2nd & 3rd year. Our first property was 8 bedrooms however we down sized to 4 bedrooms in 3rd year as half our group went on placements. Both properties were of a high standard in good locations and a fair monthly rent. Before we moved out of each property we each made sure we did as we were advised and removed all of our belongings, deep cleaned the property throughout and ensured we returned the property in the same conditio

Ace Relocations Ltd, 70 Upper Richmond Road, London
Would you use this agent again? No

I was very disappointed with my experience with Ace. Dealing mainly with Greg, I was informed about the property I enquired about and after paying my advanced security deposit for the room I found out that the house I just paid for, a newly acquired house-share, had absolutely nothing in it. What I mean by this is that it was bare - no cookware, crockery, cutlery, toaster, kettle. Nothing. Having just moved to London from South Africa, about to start my life here, I was in no position to purchas
