Martin & Co, 7 Palomino Place, Westbury
Would you use this agent again? Yes

We needed support, and an estate agent who understood ethics. Martin & Co offered both.

We bought our home through Town & Country (Westbury branch) to our great regret. As first time buyers whom they knew not to be DIYers, we'd bought a property from a landlord whose properties they regularly managed, only to find that £14,000 worth of essential repairs were to be needed in the first 4 yrs of ownership.

This nearly broke us financially, and when we were both facing unemployment, we quickl

Rawlinson Gold Estate Agents, 243 Station Road, Harrow
Would you use this agent again? No

How can I even begin to describe how despicable Rawlinson Gold is?
In the beginning, my flatmate and I only had to deal with severe incompetence, as any problem we brought up to Steven Gosling was met with 'sorry we can't do anything'. For example my asthmatic flatmate's bedding was destroyed by mould and he replied with "can I suggest you move your bed away from the outside wall" (by the way we were not doing anything like drying our clothes in that room, it was a problem with the wall, I think

Aaron Properties, 584 Cathcart Road, Glasgow
Would you use this agent again? No

Do not use this letting agency, in our experience they did not abide the law, they stole from us and allowed us to live in a dangerous and illegal property.

We moved into our first ever property and had nothing but problems as soon as we moved in - there were 2 leaking windows, one of which fell off completely. There were holes in the walls, sockets hanging off and wires hanging out of the ceiling. There were no smoke alarms or carbon monoxide detectors, and there was a functioning plug socket

Northwood, 271 North Street, Bristol
Would you use this agent again? Yes

We have been with Northwood for the past hear and a half. In that time they been the best estate agency firm we have ever encountered (have been in rented accomadation since 21 so have experienced my fair share of estate agents and landlords)

The first look around our property the estate agent was friendly attentative and not too pushy allowing us to focus on imagining what it would actually be like to live there without having the pressure of "youve gotta make a decision now it will be gone t

Would you use this agent again? No

If I could give 0 stars I would. Most expensive agency fees around, and you get LESS than no service for these apparent "agency fees". The referencing process prior to moving in was nothing short of a joke - interrogated both myself and my partner and last minute ended up telling my partner a few days before that he needed to pay his current estate agents extra to provide a reference. Constantly had to send bank screenshots. The moving in day was all left absolute last minute, you can barely ev

1 Click Move Property Management, 261 Upper Brook Street, Manchester
Would you use this agent again? No

Worst estate agents ever! Promised us all free Wifi in the property so we could sign the tenancy. The second after we signed the tenancy they told us we were not getting wifi and removed it from their property listing. The agent 'Hassan' came round to the property and forced entry. Screaming at us all saying ' You are not getting any f***ing wifi. We spent a month ringing them, they never picked up the phone and we also emailed them to no reply whats so ever. After this we got our own wifi and m

North Oxford Property Services, 47 Walton Street, Oxford
Would you use this agent again? No

The absolute worst. Some things:
- They mistyped four out of five of our email addresses when sending out the tenancy paperwork, so once we figured this out we had to scramble to get everything ready in the final few days before the tenancy started. (They didn't show any understanding or awareness of fault here, and they continued to misspell names and email addresses throughout the tenancy.)
- They were unprofessional and unresponsive in dealing with problems during the tenancy (of which there

Michael Graham Estate Agents, Victoria House, 138 Watling Street East, Towcester
Would you use this agent again? No

We have all heard the saying 'buyer beware' – with Michael Graham it is definitely 'seller beware'.
Having been specifically instructed to check our proposed buyers' status and ability to fund the purchase, Michael Graham confirmed the funds would come from the sale of a property on which the buyers had already accepted an offer and that the additional funds were available from elsewhere. For this, read 'your buyers need to sell a second property in a chain'. We knew nothing of the se

Would you use this agent again? No

The worst estate agents that I have ever had the displeasure to work with. The flat we are currently renting off them has so many problems considering it is only 2 years old! We have lived there now for 9 months (we are currently packing to leave after arguing with them to let us leave!). We have had no hot water in our bath for the whole time of our stay, there is a leak in the cupboard where there are electrical wires near by which has not been sorted, there is a leak behind the toilet which t

move with us, Grant Hall, Parsons Green, St Ives
Would you use this agent again? No

I would NOT recommend people use this company for conveyancing. We were recommended then by the estate agents who marketed the house we bought. We got several conveyancing quotes and initially they looked comparable with other solicitors. It was then that I checked the SMALL PRINT and discovered all the hidden extras they charged for that were not mentioned in the initial quote despite telling them all the pertinent details beforehand: bank transfers extra, mortgage handling extra, gifted deposi
