My wife and I stayed in one of their flats for over a year. During that time, this agency showed itself to be rude, aggressive and deliberately ineffecient whenever anything needed doing.
We moved in and they showed no interest in clearly telling us where the electric meter was or how to get access to it, as it was behind a locked cabinet. We went several days without electricity until they finally bothered to tell us how to get in.
We moved in with a filthy oven that was in no fit condition t
After signing up for a tenancy with this estate agent, I would not recommend them to any prospective tenants.
Firstly at the signing, they did not have a card machine in branch and so we had to pay the fees in cash, with the nearest cash machine being a fair walk away. It seems pretty silly that an estate agent does not have the ability to pay on card.
During the tenancy I went in branch regarding issues with the flat, and I was told that since the person who deals with our flat was not wor
Peter David in Brighouse, was just one of several agencies at which I made initial enquiries after deciding that I wished to purchase a house in the town. First impressions count, & how one is received - regardless of the budget - helps one to narrow down those agencies in whom confidence develops or not. Mine, very quickly took shape in PDP, & its staff; all of whom I dealt with personally or by telephone/e-mail. For the record, my budget was modest - under £100K - & I was looking to buy a two
1 star given because I cant give any lower.
Absolute disgrace - they showed us around a property to rent at the end of August, after we made it clear we could not move until the end of Oct. After some back and forth the Landlord decided to accept our application as they were getting no other interest at all.
We were asked for the fees and full deposit (over £900 in total) immediately to take the property off the market. BEFORE THEY HAD EVEN CHECKED WITH THE LANDLORD THEY WERE HAPPY WITH OUR M
I got valuations from several estate agents and YHomes were the cheapest, but also I felt the most professional of all those I saw. Andrew took the time to put across the advantages of using YHomes and what they offered, whereas I thought the others didn't really do that. All the way through the valuation and listing process the service was excellent and they were easy to deal with. Being available into the evening was an advantage, although I did notice that when it came to booking a valuation
I would not recommend using this company at all. Although I cannot speak for the other staff members in terms of customer service, a certain staff member *' is a lot to be desired in terms of professional conduct. We had been trying to acquire a property through the landlord personally but as the property was listed through rentolease all the usual avenues had to be taken. After me doing everything I could do to sort out things, I finally had 'Lesley' tell me Ok, that's fine the flat is definit
I lived in the property for two years, at first it was nice however a large patch of mould appeared in the middle of the kitchen ceiling. When I rang up to ask for help as I suspected there was a leak I was condescendingly told it was condensation. After several calls we finally got someone out to inspect who then siliconed up the bathroom and said we were good to go. Couple months later water starts dripping from that patch every time we shower, several more calls and several more visits and no
I used Zest Residential to let my property in the summer of 2016. The service I received was largely great; the price I paid I felt was good value. I did not have to do much to get the process going, or when the property was being viewed. Zest had a set of keys and did the viewings when they were needed.
It took roughly 2 months and 2 rounds of price drops for the property to be let however; this was partly due to a quiet post-Brexit summer environment, and the fact that Zest slightly overestim
Goodfellow's (Cheam) were a joy to deal with after having been messed around for weeks by several other local letting agencies. We were three sharers and kept running into the problem of landlords only wanting families (seems to be a popular new type of discrimination nobody's thought to make any laws against yet). One- which shall remain nameless- were particularly good at wasting our time and would regularly invite us for Group Viewings of usually still inhabited houses they had no intention o
We dealt with Keys Residential over a two-and-a-half year period as tenants. Having been the first tenants in our property, there was initially some minor issues that required attention due to the property being vacant until our tenancy (ie. bathroom fittings, plumbing). This wasn't the fault of the letting agent, but it did take some time to sort out due to poor communication with one of the staff.
Andrew Hodgson, the Lettings Director, personally took over our case and communication has been
