It took them a week (and many phone calls on our part) to recognise that we were not live on the system. After initially moving in we were given the wrong postbox key, after 3 months of constant emails without resolution it took threatening to terminate the contract for the issue to be resolved - by which point we had received court summonings for ignoring council letters that we were unaware of. Rented a property through brooklands (the landlord also had direct ties to the agents). I have to say they are single handed the most inept *letting agents I've ever dealt with. see list below
A) photos were of the wrong flat (luckily the flat was still suitable)
b) the dishwasher was out of order for 9 months (until we left) despite many many attempts to get this sorted.
c) the boiler was faulty, they bodged it to work but it made a noise so loud could be heard outside, never came to finis
I've dealt with Anscombe & Ringland and a few other reputable letting agencies before. So I can make my review based on a number of instances.
Terrible agents. I'm very happy I walked away before I actually paid them six months in advance. Apparently the letting agent told me that there had been a contract in place before I approached them so it speaks volumes that consecutive prospective tenants walked away.

The worst estate agent in the world. All the staff are very rude and unprofessional. Lies all the time, never return a call. Even I went to the office, they still refuse to talk to me. Changed the contract after I paid the deposit and not return my deposit. They close at 6pm, but their manager only work at night time which after 6pm.
