Thomas Morris, 1 Market Square, Biggleswade
Would you use this agent again? Yes

We sold our house in Biggleswade and were really stuck with who to put our house on the market with. There are two main players in Biggleswade, one is a big chain, and one is Thomas Morris. However it quickly became clear through our research and local Facebook groups that Thomas Morris really cares for their clients.

We had two quotes, one from TM, one from their main competitor, and although the one from the second company came in marginally lower, we soon realised that this extra cost for T

Bairstow Eves, 198 Lavender Hill, London
Would you use this agent again? No

Bairstow eves organised a couple of open days (at the owner's request apparently) but I found the experience very frustrating. There was no assigned time slot - just >20 people viewing the same property at the same time (for about 20 minutes). It was so crowded that everyone was in everyone's way. The agents didn't have answers to the questions (e.g. simple things like when the tenancy ends, council tax band, whether there's gas central heating). Also, they seem to be giving out floorplans to

Hatched, 1st Floor, Houghton Place, Arenson Way, Dunstable
Would you use this agent again? Yes

This was my first experience of selling a house so I do not have anything to compare it with, but overall I was extremely impressed by the efficiency and professionalism of Hatched. I have already recommended Hatched to other people and will definitely be using them again.

Some of the key positives for me:
• The range of different packages to chose from, all of which offer good value for money (I opted for the split package)
• The speed of initial response and in getting the details online

Carrington Gray, First Floor, Unit 3, The Old Station Yard, London
Would you use this agent again? No

I am absolutely disgusted to have been duped by these scammers. I visited a property in October to potentially purchase. I met Jamie who told me the property was on with another agent. He told me an offer amount that he thought I should give that he knew would be accepted by sellers. I thought this was odd but agreed as liked the property. He told me it had been accepted couple of days later. I waited and waited for correspondence and offer letter which never came. Jamie and David had told me to

Atkinson McLeod, 181-183 Kennington Lane, London
Would you use this agent again? No

In short, terrible communication, impossible to get hold of anyone*. Ultimately held my money for over a week with no communication and have left me personally in a very tricky housing situation - would not recommend!

It all seemed to going well when ** showed my housemate and I around a lovely 2 bed flat in Waterloo that was absolutely ideal for our need. As we were very keen, we put a holding deposit down on that day to ensure that we obtained the property (apparently these are only valid f

Hunters Estate Agents, Mabel House, 10a Dartmouth Road, London
Would you use this agent again? Yes

When I first thought to sell my property I invited two of the local agents over. Both have big reputations and generally do almost all the property business in my area.

Both gave roughly the same valuation - so it was pretty much a choice of whom we liked more.

Then I was introduced to James via a friend. He popped over, explained how he would try a different approach to the other agents - his goal to generate more viewings and therefore more offers as he put it. He said I'd likely g

Hastings International, 167b Rotherhithe Street, London
Would you use this agent again? Yes

Having been looking to buy for a long time, I had been messed around by a number of agents on a number of other properties before coming to view a property put on the market by Hastings International.
Tim was my initial contact in setting up the viewing. Having previously dealt with over 30 agents, even from the start Tim was one of the few agents that I had come across that actually followed up on a promise to give me a call back to arrange the viewing itself.
The viewing itself, and most s

Martin & Co, 33 Liverpool Road, Manchester
Would you use this agent again? No

Martin and Co are a disgrace of a letting agent‚€‚“ absolute cowboys - avoid at all costs.

5 years of renting in Manchester city centre with no problems at all until the misfortune of dealing with Martin and Co. Julie and the team are impossible to deal with (and I work in Comms...). All of the employees I've dealt with at the agency lack common sense and have no customer service skills whatsoever. I have been lied to by members of the team on several occasions, and upon poi

John D Wood & Co, 235 Banbury Road, Oxford
Would you use this agent again? No

Possibly the worst estate agents I have ever used. They sent around a very personable sales person who promised the earth, kept in touch and was exceedingly helpful but disappeared the minute we signed the contract. After that a junior in the office who hadn't even visited our house appeared to be looking after our sale.

Ahead of signing we were assured that anyone who conducted viewings would be familiar with the house. This wasn't the case and there was a different person for each viewin
