Andrews, 9 Wellsway Bear Flat, Bath
Would you use this agent again? Yes

Having taken the decision to sell my much loved home in Bath, I took it upon myself to do a lot of research into the estate agents in my area (of which there are plenty) trying to work out who to list my property with.

Two factors were mainly influencing my decision, the first naturally being who could get me the best price, and the second (and probably more importantly) choosing a company I could trust to deal with the various viewings, paper work and generally just keeping an eye on the pl

Leonard Leese, 230 Borough High Street, London
Would you use this agent again? Yes

Christopher Daniel is an agent who every buyer or seller aspires to meet with.
To begin with I left KFH to Leonard Leese and thought of leaving Leonard Leese for another agent before Chris took exclusive charge of the sale process and continued till a sale was effected at a good price with very good service from him -all through.
Before Chris intervened in the process appointments were made incoherently and in an adhoc fashion without regard to terms already discussed When a client is selling

Aidan J Reed, 100 Ashby Road, Loughborough
Would you use this agent again? No

We took on this house from friends who lived in it before us and for some reason Aidan J Reed took this as a chance to not fulfil part of their contract. The contract clearly states that the house to be cleared off rubbish before move in but when I arrived on the 1st of July there was an entire room full of items left by the girls from the year before. I also had to request that the kitchen be cleaned as me and my housemate moved in we found all the shelves and oven to be disgusting and we refus

Statons Estate Agents LLP, 50 Watling Street, Radlett
Would you use this agent again? No

Statons in Radlett contacted us to advise of a property that was being marketed more discreetly and not online. Following the viewing, our offer was accepted and we proceeded to survey which cost us approx £750.

Initially our house was down valued and our buyer couldn't raise the outstanding amount so
Gavyn the branch manger called me to say that in order for the sale to go though he would negotiate a £25,000 price reduction on our onward purchase if we took less for ours. This indicated th

Scottish House Move, Centrum House 38 Queen Street:, Glasgow
Would you use this agent again? Yes

I want to start this review by saying that this is going to be a very honest review - highlighting the facts of how I found my experience with Scot House Move. I spent a very long time doing lots of research (including on this site!) and asking friends / family which agents were best. I also had a fair few agents round for a "valuation". The range in quotes and ethos of these different agents astonished me. It can be very easy to get sucked into the sales patter from these agents, particularly f

Moginie James, 51 Cathays Terrace, Cardiff
Would you use this agent again? No

Possibly the worst experience of moving house. I moved into my first rented property and like most 19 year olds I was really excited.. However,if I had known that I would encounter half of the problems I've experienced I would never have moved in. Myself and my partner were lied to continuously throughout the process, we were told the house would be 'deep cleaned' before we moved in,which was the biggest lie of all. On our move date which was last Saturday we opened with the door and it was abso

Foxtons, 98 St John\'s Wood Terrace, London
Would you use this agent again? No

I dealt with Foxtons when I first moved to London to assist me in finding a property. At first I was impressed not only by how many properties they had to show me, but also by how "proactive" they were about communicating with me during my search. It sounds naive thinking back because that's kind of basic in terms of what someone would expect from an agency. Within three days I signed a lease facilitated by them and everything sounded so good - they would help me get all the information about

Core Property Management, 4 Claremont Place, Glasgow
Would you use this agent again? No

Found to what was a perfect flat for me and girlfriends first home together back in April 2011. We immediately paid £150 to secure property and move in 4 weeks later. That's when trouble all began had several issues getting hold of jane in the office. As one day I was having a hot shower before work, the water temperature changed dramatically and scalded my chest. I ended up in hospital due to this with severe blistering and discomfort. When finally got hold of the office it took close to a wee

Connells, 4-6 High Street, Sutton Coldfield
Would you use this agent again? No

Connells are by far are the worst letting agency I have ever dealt with! First off, the tenancy agreement was drawn up with the incorrect rent payment date, luckily my partner noticed prior to signing and asked for new contracts to be created, they were, we signed them and assumed that would be the end of it, as the months rolled on we continually received the same letter stating that our rent payments were late which of course we knew they weren't. I called several times, only to be fobbed off

Would you use this agent again? No

DON'T GO WITH NICHOLAS HUMPHREYS UNLESS they have stopped letting properties associated with Nottingham Student Lettings (owned by BSP holdings). Student properties in Nottingham owned by BSP holdings include: Castle Gate student apartments, Equitable House flats and many others *

If you can forgive their rude, unprofessional, and sometimes aggressive attitude to any enquiry you may have, then you will have to also forgive their lying and their theft. It will take you MONTHS of nagging to get
