I am urgently trying to buy a property in Lincoln. The above property came on the market and I requested an early viewing (this was on the 11th of November), I was told that the earliest viewing was Friday the 14th at 12.00. I requested an earlier viewing, but was told that this was the earliest, but I would be the first person to view it. On the Friday we arrived in Canwick early to walk around the village - we were very surprised to see another couple view the property before us (so much fo

I have put rotherham moorgate as I actually deal with Bawtry Road, why am I not surprised that you haven't got this on your site? Another show of incompetence

I have been dealing with the branch manager who informed me on the 14th that monies from my tennant had been located and sent to accts (see below )
. The tenant has sent through a copy of his receipt for rent which he paid in yesterday. I have sent this over to Accounts and asked them to allocate and send to you as soon as possible.

Please read if you are considering Carson & Co. over a smaller, local estate agents.
A job move abroad forced us to sell our house in Sandhurst. We were told by friends that the best way to sell - (and the quickest) was to use a local, small estate agent that knows the area. Which is exactly what we did, and signed up with Waterfields. Nice enough people - although the guy we had to deal with was a little awkward (and it took them a month before they got the For Sale sign up). For the first wee

Unity Lets, 96 North Hill, Plymouth
Would you use this agent again? No

Unity lets is the most unprofessional company I have ever come across, how they are still a functioning company is beyond me. I'm unsure if they don't know that tenants in the houses actually have rights, or that they are abusing the fact they house students and purposefully breaking them. Their master key is completely misused, not only do they breach the restrictions put in their own contracts, but they break the law and disregards the rights of any tenants, by entering when they please. Anyon

Burgess & Co, 3 Devonshire Square, Bexhill on Sea
Would you use this agent again? Yes

We used Burgess and Co to sell our house before moving into a rental property in the far north of Scotland. Our first contact was with Julie Burgess, the managing director of the company, who initially valued and marketed our property. Because it was an unusual property, a 4 bedroom Edwardian detached house with a self-contained purpose built ground floor granny-annex, it was a difficult property to market as it wasn't "run of the mill", but would only appeal to someone who wanted the extra spac

JP & Brimelow, 418 Wilmslow Road, Manchester
Would you use this agent again? No

Utterly atrocious.
1) Failed to get guarantor forms to us in a timely fashion despite us constantly contacting them. Asked to have them emailed only for them to say "that's not our policy", then telling us on the day we were supposed to move in that they could have emailed the forms.

2) No visibility of agency fees on the website or otherwise (which is illegal) and having these thrown on us the day we tried to move in. When asked what the fees were for they explained that it was for printing

Would you use this agent again? Yes

I have been living overseas for around 20 years and have let a couple of properties in the UK in that time. One was originally my main residence, the other an investment property.
In that time I have engaged 6 or 7 different agents, and there were none that I would recommend to anyone. They consistently failed in every aspect of being an agent for an overseas landlord: IE not conducting proper tenant background checks, did not carry out regular property inspections, did not monitor damage a

Responsive. Fast publishing of details. High quality team throughout. Oh yes...competitive price.

I used a local, independent, estate agent last year. What drove me to eMoov was the quality of service I received from the independent local operator. If this had been better I would have used them this year when I was involved in selling a property as an executor. I thought that an online agent couldn't be worse and at least it would be cheaper.

In fact the experience was far better. eMoov wa

Absolutely avoid even if you are desperate!!!!
From word go we had a lady called hayley show us around the house. She knew absolutely nothing about the house everything we asked she had no idea on!
I applied for a property at Martin and Co and explain that a issue may come up on the credit reference, Olivia said not to worry because we can have a guarantor so the property would be secure. I then wait to hear from the reference company get informed that my partner had a CCj on his record fo
