We are extremely disappointed with our experience of Savills. They seem to exemplify all the worst elements of the rental market that are being discussed in the national news currently.
After a reasonable start in initiating our tenancy they have been nothing but useless. Following several hundred pounds in admin fees to start we were also charged £140 to renew our tenancy after 18 months. Despite the fact that they use online contracts (so they just have to input the new dates and increase
Rachel provided me with excellent service throughout purchasing my mortgage. As I am only 20 mortgages were completely new to me ¢â‚¬â€œ I had no idea about anything! Rachel made me feel at ease about everything and I felt like I could ask her anything without feeling silly ¢â‚¬â€œ and she explained anything I asked to me in great depth, until she was certain I understood! She would always clarify I understood what I was signing, reading and what step I was at in the house buy
In March 2009 I bought a property through WH Brown based in Willerby Square East Yorkshire, I later made the bad mistake of selling my own property through them. When I initially contacted them to view the property in Bishop Burton near Beverley I was told in would be at least 10 days before they had an agent available to show me round. When I finally got to view the property I was shown around with another couple which was not appropriate as I felt rushed and not able to look at my leisure. I a
The estate agent/landlord (brothers - lack of impartiality) has not held true to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme that he is registered with and uses as a marketing tool (displayed in his window) to lure trusting tenants.
As tenants we were threatened (in writing) that if we lodged a dispute with the TDS it would be bypassed and we would be taken to court anyway.
No part (even the undisputed part) of our deposit has ever been returned to us since 2013.
The estate agent does not respect tenan
Me and my husband have rented 7 properties between us and this is by far the worst letting agents we have ever dealt with when moving out of a property. Firstly when they were showing others around the house after we had handed in our notice one agent took me to one side and asked exactly what we were doing to 'tidy up' when we did leave, bearing in mind we had boxes everywhere as we were in the process of moving out and then told us the oven cleaner he had seen in the house would not be good e
I just wanted to praise your team at Ashford, including Gary, Kim, Ashley, Richard and Matthew as the service they have provided me has been outstanding.
I had my house on the market with another well established agent previously. In 5 weeks I had a handful of viewings and no offers combined with terrible customer service and I had to do all the chasing for simple things like feedback or show potential buyers round.
Your team took over and I was immediately struck at just how professional,
This was an empty/No chain property, belonging to my Late Father, that passed all surveys. There were 5 x previous abortive sales on it with a different agent, PRIOR to me moving to Newman Estate Agency. After that I did indeed market with Newman, but my reason for doing so, was in the MAIN due to how superb the professionalism and service given by the particular agent I specifically asked for, ie Spencer Blake.
I moved to Rugby some 20+ years ago, and when I sold my first property in Rugby
Initial contact was good, during a phone conversation in arranging a viewing.viewing arranged for 12pm.I arrived at 12.03,having had to leave my work in warlingham, and also the estate agent failing to let us now there was a property the other end of the road with the same door number, where a resident informed us we were waiting at the wrong property.the road the property is on is pay and display, where the machine was half way done the road.at 12.20,after standing outside the property for all tha
Carl is a person one should not trust. We paid him 1850 pounds in advance before signing the contract for a flat. He told us that flat is available from 3rd FEB 2014 and we needed the Flat from that date only we are very clear on the date from the beginning and the money was transferred on the basis of his word that the Flat is available from that date. The landlord did not agree to sign the contract because the Flat was not available from that date. Carl told us that he would make the landlord
We first engaged House Network in 2010 and the service was excellent. During the following twelve months we were able to manage our property sale site by continuously making amendments to text and photographs as and when we recognised areas of description that could be improved upon. This feature was invaluable and we believe that such a level of control would not have been possible with a conventional estate agent.
Due to the stagnancy of the housing market we were able to suspend marketing of
