I could not fault the service I received from the PLC. They were the only agents who did not make me feel like just a number and met me in the evening to view the flat. The whole application process was seamless. I lived in the flat for 2 years, I had one maintenance issue where the bathroom pipe had leaked and saturated the wooden floor in the hallway. Very reasonable, exactly what you would expect and hardly took anything from my deposit for cleaning/carpet steam cleaning.

Appalling estate agents. They rent you a shoddy, dirty flat, don't sort out maintenance issues or reply to emails, and then charge you for cleaning bills at the end (despite the fact you left the flat ten times cleaner than when you moved in!)....

I have rented a flat with this agency for 2.5 years, and have always found them helpful - any niggles have been sorted out quite promptly, and the staff are friendly and approachable. It seems to me that they are as attentive to the tenant as to the landlord. Would recommend, especially Dawn Grant, whom I usually deal with....

They are probably the worst agents. They are nice, sweet people when you are renting out from them but at the end, they show what they truly are. This agency is highly irresponsible. They would make mistakes and never even owe up to it. We had a terrible experience. Don't trust them blindly or take them for their pleasant personalities....

We used to live in one of the flats of TPLC for one year now. The team was professional and really friendly throughout the whole process from the viewing to the refund of the deposit. In particular Suzanne and Dawn, with which we dealt with most of the time are really nice and helpful at any time. Sometimes the processes take a long time like small issues such as changing out things, however, this might be due to the landlord itself as well. One big disappointment was the 1,5 month long repair...

The Property Letting Centre was excellent in the way that they dealt with us. We stayed in the property for five years and never had difficulty with Agent. The staff there were always helpful and would try and assist where possible. When we left they did not rush us and pointed out areas which needed attention. If I was going to rent again I would go back to them. There were a couple of small niggles but when pointed out the team got it sorted. The washing machine was one but it was dealt with. ...

We were pleasently surprised at the excellent service we received. From meeting the agent at the property to filling out all the paper work the very same day. The agent was extremely polite and helpful and answered all my questions with confidence which reassured me. All the staff I dealt with we're excellent. They always did what they said they would. This is a short summary of my very long list of complaints: They promise anything to get your custom, without having the slightest intention of honouring any promise. They leased my flat to tenants with totally unsatisfactory references. They did not let me see either the references or the lease. They signed the lease - forming a binding legal agreement - behind my back. I would NEVER have signed a document without reading it. They refused to send me a copy of the lease afterwards. What agent could do to change your mind?
We have already been through the process of apology, promises to do differently, and the breaking of those promises. Even the payment of a large amount of compensation would not change my mind.

The fees would have been fine if they had actually done what I was paying them for. The rent would have been fine if they had let the property to a good tenant. But the fees were too much for the amount of work they did and I would not have let that nightmare tenant stay for ‚£1 million.

Plc will tell you one thing and do the complete opposite, for example when viewing the property we asked for certain items to be removed, they said we will talk to the landlord and get it sorted. It turned out they hadn't even spoken to him. We had issues with the heating and hot water several times, the boiler needed replaced and when it broke down, even with a small baby in the house, it still took plc days to get someone out to repair it.
