Property owners: Tenant Network are a terrible letting agency who will treat your tenants with contempt. Tenants: Tenant Network are a terrible letting agency who will treat you with contempt. We rented a property through Tenant Network for over 3 years. We were model tenants, something that Tenant Network expressed to me in writing. Despite our being perfect tenants,, the manner in which we had to leave was entirely unfair and unsatisfactory. The landlord had entered the property early a...

We chose this property because it's bill included... but when our contract ended and wanted to get back out deposit, they charge us a lot and told us it's because of the extra bills we overused. I wanted to get a statement from them to see where they deduct our deposit but they did not give us even after we email and called them over and over again. My other friend told me that he paid one month worth of deposit and only got back ‚£5 and he his room was perfectly fine, no damages....

They are terrible with students, specially if you are a foreigner. Try to avoid working with them. They lost all our paperwork and kept asking us for it since they seem unable to organize it. They do not give you a personalised service and don't care about you, they only care about the money. They weren't helpful at all so we decided to contact our landlord and arrange everything with him. Thank god we did it, otherwise we would be living in the street right now!...

terrible service and condition. moved in and the house was in a state which I could accept as we chose it but when they expect us to clean it to a standard higher than they gave it to us is unacceptable. they clearly have no knowledge of what they are doing. lied about the dates in which inspections were carried out. barged into my house and into my room silently with a camera waking me up, when I went to talk to him he had left the house. painted over mould and it came back and spread, now its ...

Started with a rip off of admin fees of £180 to which they didnt specify where the money went to. If you need to contact your landlord about damages e.t.c then good luck because it wont happen. We still recieve bills from last years tennants, this should have been sorted out before we arrived. Yet if something involves money they are quick to the case in terms of hunting you down. Cocky egotistical staff. Just awful. AVOID !!! We have to pay to move out of the house .... and we have ...

Me and my husband rented a one bedroom property for 2 years. During the 2 years we looked after the property as if it was our own and we paid our rent promptly. When we checked out, we left the place sparkling, we spent a whole day cleaning the house to a professional standard and even the outside (for good courtesy). 6 weeks pass and we still have not been contacted or received our 650 deposit. I had to chase it up and when I did I find out the man in charge of our checkout did not do a goo...

I am taking the time to write a review on Tenant Network as they have gone over and above standard levels of service when dealing with a property I am renting. Shortly after moving in I had the misfortune to have a leak from the flat above me. The whole ceiling came through in the middle of the night. I called the 24 hour emergency number and a contractor came out within 30 minutes. The next day I called Michelle at the office and she has done everything she can to get the ceiling fixed quickly ...

Thank you to all the staff at the Southsea office that made my recent move to Portsmouth an absolute pleasure. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE INCOMPETENT PEOPLE. I\'ve had problems with these people regarding repairs, inventory and money. This particular nightmare is revolving around a non returned remainder deposit, weeks after a tenancy ending and amazingly ridiculous accepted(on behalf of Chey) invoice of £110 for cleaning services to a small bedsit. To incur such cleaning charges you would think that I would have to have the hygiene and cleanliness of a troll but infact because of my health conditions...

Dear STEVEN BONNER Your review is factually incorrect for a number of reasons: 1) The property you rented was in Blackfriars Rd in Glasgow, Scotland approx. 500 miles away from where we are based. You let the property through a company named Lets Direct a local letting agency whom were responsible for the letting and check in. If the property was not to your liking you did not have to rent it and if there were any issues with the presentation of the property it should have been flagged up ...

RECOMENDED AGENT! Great service very professional and ultra quick at getting references done. I liked their office too much nicer than most other agencies in Portsmouth. I am from London and living down here for the first time. I am glad I used Tenant Network as they have been really good especially Andrew and better than agents I have used back home!...

When I first met Andrew I thought he was a stereotypical estate agent just trying to sell any property on the books to us. Since me and my mate\'s reserved a house for next year he has changed my opinion as he has been really helpful and understanding. One of my housemates has dropped out so we didn\'t have a clue what to do so we booked a meeting with Andrew to discuss the options. Top quality service from Tenant Network, I have been with them for 18 months and only have good things to say. One thing that really stands out though is that I locked myself out recently on a Saturday evening and was fearing the worst as the offices are closed until Monday morning but I phoned the emergency number on their website and got a call back from Michelle the property manager and she went in and got the spare keys and let me in the flat. [[EDIT ORIGINAL START]] Naomi you must be aware that all student contract liabilities are joint and several therefore if your housemate leaves the agent/landlord will endeavour to recover the lost rent from the tenant whom has left however if this is not recovered the landlord is perfectly entitled to collect the outstanding rent from the rest of the tenants. Tenant Network were instructed by the landlord to recover the debt from the deposit which we did. Rather than vent your anger at us you s ...

Fire the two incompetent and rude idiots manning the desk and employ someone with some brains, dedication and compassion who can master the art of customer service! Don\'t accept substandard properties from dodgy \'Landlords\' who are really just managing multiple properties for friends/relatives - goodness only knows how legal this side of the business is (and believe me, we had a barrister on standby ready to investigate that for us!) ! If you say that the property is cleaned over summer then do it. In fact, clean it anyway. It should not be the new tenants responsibility to have to clean up after previous tenants.
