Was ill advised when renting the property. I originally wanted a 1 year minimum term but the sales agent said straight away that the landlord would only do 6 months and explained that it was a means of protecting me if things go bad. Be more up front with all the costs involved. Be receptive to offer to ask the landlord to negotiate contract lengths. Be more attentive to after-sale service to avoid giving the impression that they only care about getting the rental money.

Stop ripping people off and get your fees sorted out, also your staff love to talk down to tenants, this is unacceptable.
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
