Sorry to say , But I am shocked to see that they re the highest rated agency in London. I feel that they run the standard agency trap. Putting some super nice and cheap room offers on spare room.co.uk Then when u call to see if that's still available they see you must come by the office. Once you are there they just ignore your questions about the places you found online and constantly show you others that are either more expensive or much further away. Was a waste of Time and money...

I was made to travel 1 hour to go to their head office, supposedly meeting Adam who I had been speaking to for a few days. There was a property I wanted to view and only wanted said property. They insisted I came to the head office and then would be taken from there. Before leaving I checked with Stirling to make sure it was still available, it was. It was quite refreshing after a long day of house viewings to see someone that was genuinely interested in selling a room. Alice was very insightful in explaining the terms of my contract an what I would be required to do to secure the room. Our trip to the property was filled with nuggets of information of where the nearest train station was as well as where to find local amenities like gyms, pubs and local grocery stores. Alice was very professional and did understand my needs fairly quickly. There was no need to browse through tons of properties as she quickly grasped what I wanted. Her interaction was smooth and she always put the customer needs first. I would definitely recommend her as an agent....

Philip's assurance that they will find a right room for me as we talk on the phone puts of lot of my stress from room hunting at ease. When I went to the office he was very welcoming and attentive. The briefing was clear and helpful. He listen to what I'm looking for and recommended something quite suitable. I think he's the best agent I've meet in the whole room hunting experience after meeting/speaking to more than 10 agents/landlords....

Complaints Procedure

Here at Sterling De Vere we pride ourselves on the level of customer service we provide. However,sometimes things do go wrong and you may need to complain, rest assured we are a member of The Property Ombudsman (TPOS) and as such aim to provide the highest standards of service to all our customers. To ensure that your interests are safeguarded, we have a Complaints Process in place. The aim of this process is to resolve any issues as quickly as possible, although in the majority of cases we hope to resolve them at branch level.

Stage One - Branch Manager (BM)

The first step in dealing with a complaint is the liaison with the Branch Manager. Each of our branches are equipped with a very friendly and professional Manager who are more than capable to deal and address any complaints or issues you may have. With direct contact and swift replies, the Branch Manager is sure to do the best of their ability to resolve any problems.

Stage Two รขย€ย“ Chief Operations Officer (COO)
If you remain dissatisfied, you may then further your complaint, which must be in writing, to the Chief Operations Officer. You must write to them within 28 days of receiving the Branch response. The Branch manager will supply you with the details of the appropriate person. They will acknowledge your complaint within three working days of receipt of your letter and provide you with a full written response within 15 working days.

Stage Three รขย€ย“ Managing Director (MD)
If you remain dissatisfied, you may address your concerns in writing to the Managing Director. Your letter will be acknowledged within three working days of receipt and you will be provided with a final view written response on behalf of the Company within 15 working days of receipt of your letter.

Stage Four - The Property Ombudsman (TPO)
After you have received a response from the Managing Director, you may approach the Ombudsman if you are not satisfied with the response given. Details of how to do this are contained within the final viewpoint letter, The Property Ombudsman Consumer Guide or online at http://www.tpos.co.uk
