Difficult to comment as we haven't compared with fees charged by other agents, but in view of the problems we have had, and which have been resolved, it seems like money well-spent. Not sure that 'arrangement fees' are fully justified unless a substantial amount of work is involved.

Charlotte Way has been amazing in sorting out a replacement fridge-freezer under a British Gas Homecare insurance policy. In the end it took 5 months for BG to finally replace the appliance. Dreadful. I know standards are low out there for a variety of reasons but Snellers are right ahead in the competitive race to the bottom. They do the superficial stuff quite well sometimes, but are hopelessly disorganised, and fundamentally incompetent. Part of the problem is they are part of a wider organisation (Thamesview) which is the same company under different names (Hamptons, Dexters). When I moved in, the entrance phone were broken. It took 10 months of constant chasing to get these cheapskates to agree the cost of replacing it though I reported it immediately. This involved them sending three separate electricians round - the first one they lost his report. Second one didn't have the right replacement handset when he turned up.
