These agents are very unprofessional as they let out the above named property in a very filthy state. I had to do a lot of cleaning. Majority of the curtains were broken, one of the lamp shade was broken before move in, the mattress had urine stains on it, we had to use mattress protector, there was an existing curtain pole in the master bedroom due to no blinds. I had to purchase a pair of black curtain to prevent people from looking into the room. The agent that gave us the keys on the move in...

Comment on agent fees
We were charged a deposit of ‚£1940 and given back ‚£182 for just the fridge handle that came off which was already loose when we moved in. The rent we were paying monthly for an unclean apartment with unwashed carpet which they promised to clean but never did. I have emails to prove this,‚£1400. A total of ‚£10,400 was collected as upfront payment.

When I moved in there was (surprise, surprise no double bed). Apparently the landlord refused to provide one and yet they still went ahead with the contract. After a few weeks they did provide a double bed as we pointed out to them it was in the signed contract. Unfortunately this resulted in us having a single bed in our living room for 3 mont...

This is quite amusing. I had a very similar experience to the above, only worse. I was asked to pay a £500 'holding deposit' in addition to the extortionate agency fee. For my money I was completely kept in the dark as to the status of my application until literally a couple of days before my move in date, despite repeated requests for an update of the progress. I was promised a sofa as part of my contract. On my arrival there was so sofa. I politely asked for this to be rectified, then ...
