I had been with the estate agent since 2004. In 2007 when many companies were having business and financial difficulties the rent would be paid weeks late. What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent should pay the Ombudsman award to me. I was on a very tight budget and relied on having the rent paid on time. My direct debits were paid late and I received late fees. My credit was affected. I would not be able to trust them again.

The fees were reasonble if they did all they said they would.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
