After a poor start with wrong information about the property, which cost me money, Katy took over. I was impressed with her commitment to seeing the task through, she was always approachable and prompt with relevant information. The service provided was generally good. Unfortunately the solicitors recommended were not and the sale process took far longer than it should. Lisa was extremely efficient in liaising with the parties and tried her best to make sure that progress was made....

Shannon polite and friendly ,also Jeanette very helpful both over phone and in person. When contacted by Shannon by phone often at work and unable to take call. Message would be left asking us to call back. When did Shannon would usually be unavailable as on phone. It would have been better for the message to tell us what it was about rather than us asking to ring back. Alternatively a message by e-mail would have been just as good....

We were the buyer and were quoted £1900 for solicitor's fees. We had already been recommended to a solicitor who changed us £1500 so maybe your quote could have been more competitive.

Initially we were allocated a member of staff (Joanne Boardman) to handle the sale of our property. She was efficient, polite, helpful and professional and gave us regular updates. Unfortunately, for Ryder & Dutton and ourselves, she left the company. Communication ceased. We had to make all the phone calls to check on progress and the lack of communication was extremely frustrating at a stressful time. hi my name is david and I have just managed to eventually sell my terraced house in chapel road hollinwood it was a difficult sale due to the purchaser dropping out of the sale at the first offer he changed his mind then came back a few months later with a slightly lower offer that I accepted the sales team was very helpful my sales negotiator caroline shaw was excellent and nothing was to much trouble for her I would recommend ryder/Dutton and certainly use them again...

Initially marketed well, as time went on I felt I as the seller was pushing the process, we had so many viewing the property and the feedback was that "too much work required" - this indicated the wording did not reflect this. As seller I initiated fresh photographs and re wording and rang the agent weekly for updates to keep pushing. I felt the agent should have been the ones to review and be proactive, this was not my experience....

Our dealings with ryder and dutton were mixed. To start with we had very little confidence. We were not regularly upstand and we had two cancelled viewings in 4 months. Richard Pardoe valued the property and produced the particulars. I was expecting to deal with him for the whole transaction but, apparently, that was the limit of his involvement. Visit for valuation went well and pleased with the valuation.....higher than one from another agent. Viewings ....we didn't have many. OK overall, was told there service involved alot more than it actually did, i had to do work i was not expecting to do, due to be told the branch was going to do it. Also i had to chase and chase and chase to get answers. Also i believe i was fobbed off with regards geting hold of the landlord especcially as i know him and he told me the truth....

Ryder and Dutton do what any agent would do. We are still in the process of our sale and are also using the solicitor they recommended. Several points - firstly we have not really been updated regularly and the solicitors claim that the process can be monitored online is incorrect as this facility does not exist. Secondly our property guarantees and work certificates were not passed by them to the solicitor causing needless delays - also on that note the solicitor wrote a letter to us asking for...

Ryder & Dutton were ok with there service, quite stress free to begin with. However they seemed more concerned with keeping the person buying happy than us. The buyer requested the signs to be changed from "for sale" to "sold" before we had even agreed the sale and Ryder & Dutton agreed, however the sale eventually went through, so it didn't harm us too much, it was just odd way of conducting a sale. I would still recomend them as overall they were ok....
