Staff need to be more polite and less bullying their tactics, think some would benefit from customer service training. Also need to review their processes and procedures as they have failed on many accounts

What agent could do to change your mind?
Romans (at least in the whole Berkshire area) need to have a re-structure of their sales teams. They all have no consideration for either the prospects/clients time or privacy, they re-book/cancel viewings as it suits them best, they book to many appointments in for one day and don't have time for others. They are rude and pushy on the phone (unless its time to put in your credit card details). Get back to basics, simple simple simple - 1) "how to treat your clients/prospects" - 2) how to manage your time effectively.

We think an independent state agent may provide better services than big chain companies. They need to give us professional advice and regular updates. They should be able to give more personalised services. We definitely wouldn't recommend Romans to anyone.

- Less hidden clauses in the contract - More professional communication - Better in-office trained staff - Remove anti-consumer practices like partnering with energy companies for additional (unnecessary) commission - Take fewer agency fees for basic and essential paperwork (which should come from the rent cut)
