The market was tight but fortunately we found a suitable property through Valissa in the small hamlet of Shillinglee, near Chiddingfold. We knew the area well since our children grew up here.

We had no success so, after several short rentals, complicated by serious health matters, we moved towards Haslemere to be with old friends. The market was tight but fortunately we found a suitable property through Valissa in the small hamlet of Shillinglee, near Chiddingfold. We knew the area well since our children grew up here.
The house looked nicer than it appeared such that we experienced several problems living in it. Valissa always sorted things out in a professional, prompt and friendly manner. Nothing seemed to faze her nor her contractors!
The owner insisted on a two year tenancy whilst we hoped to leave after a year as we were still hoping to find a new home. This was a worrying situation but Valissa assured us that she would do her utmost to release us. Thankfully, we found a property and Valissa signed another tenant. Jane and I have no hesitation in recommending Valissa Burnett and Regency Lettings to anyone searching for a good place to live.

I am a Tenant by choice; once a decade I have, for one reason or another, had to move again, keeps me for going too complacent! Last year I found, visited and chose this property in Chiddingfold, went through all the usual bureaucracy very efficiently, managed to move ourselves in the middle of the beginning of Lockdown, without help, and settled in without any surprises. I have a second property which is not local and there is no comparison in agents. I just wish Regency Lettings was all across the UK! I’ve recommended Regency Lettings to a neighbour also.

It was our first ever time of getting our own place and we looked on rightmove for a while until one week we clicked on after loosing a bit of hope and then this wonderful flat came up and I emailed Valissa thinking I will here back in a few days as it was a weekend, however Valissa called me an hour later for a viewing. Valissa was amazing throughout the process she always replied efficiently and supported up through many questions and the paperwork we needed to complete, We can’t thank her enough. Fees are far more reasonable than those you pay with a large agency and Valissa certainly earns her commission.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
Complaints Procedure
Write to: Regency Lettings & Property Management Limited, Rystead Lodge Barn Buildings, Chiddingfold, Surrey, GU8 4XS. We are committed to providing a professional service to all our clients and customers. If you have a complaint, please put it in writing, including as much detail as possible. We will then respond in line with the timeframes set out below (if you feel we have not sought to address your complaints within eight weeks, you may be able to refer your complaint to the Property Ombudsman to consider without our final viewpoint on the matter). What will happen next? We will send you a letter acknowledging receipt of you complaint within three working days of receiving it, enclosing a copy of this procedure. We will then investigate your complaint. This will normally be dealt with by the office manager who will review your file and speak to the member of staff who dealt with you. A formal written outcome of our investigation will be sent to you within 15 working days of sending the acknowledgement letter. If, at this stage, you are still not satisfied, you should contact us again and we will arrange for a separate review to take place by a senior member of staff. We will write to you within 15 working days of receiving your request for a review, confirming our final viewpoint on the matter. If you are still not satisfied after the last stage of the in-house complaint procedure (or more than 8 weeks has elapsed since the complaint was first made) you can request an independent review from The Property Ombudsman without charge.
