Castle Homes Derby

I was a tenant at 9 Carlton House for over 8 years. In those eight years we had to deal with tenants smoking cannabis regularly and the smell was in every room and corridor of the building. Despite complaining nothing was done. I constantly complained about mice infestation. But they refused to fill holes in walls and floors it was "just to be expected"as they said it was an old building and they as ran from the pub next door under the floor boards. They insisted, even after eight years of perfect tenancy, letting themselves in, without warning, to do quarterly inspections. On one occasion they had obviously used the bathroom! The entry code for the door was constantly broke and what I can only describe as homeless people could be found sitting in stair wells smoking and drinking. Twice my car was vandalised in the 'secure' car park and no CCTV was available. On leaving they with held 50% of my deposit as the carpets weren't hoovered. Despite the landlord of the property agreeing that I should receive it in full. The agency disagreed and withheld half. PLEASE DO NOT RENT ANYTHING FROM THIS AGENCY UNLESS YOU WANT NOTHING BUT TROUBLE AND YOUR DEPOSIT LOST.
