This James person is a terrible agent. Not only is rude to tenants, he has been harassing us in order to get people to see the property just 3 months after we moved in (12 months contract) while the contract states that they can only do that the last 2 months which is completely reasonable. We exchanged many emails saying NO, copying the landlords and he only replies to us saying that he has a key and he can let himself in when we are not in the house. We are truly afraid of this guy and this is the main reason why we are not staying in this house this year.

He lies to tenants and to the landlords. In order to make the sale he promised things that the landlords didn't know about (replace 1 broken glass, build a driveway on the front garden).

Now we are in the process to move out of this house and the new agency is asking CV homes to provide references in order to complete the background check process and this person is taking 9 days to reply with the form while he says to us:

I sent another copy today for you. I sent it on the 1st July but my emails were full and did not realise it hadn't gone through. I hope you enjoy your new home.

This is a lie. I have just called the new agency and he only sent an email saying that he will send the information in 4 days time (next Monday).

I strongly recommend to tenants and landlords to go for a different agency. This guy is terrible and is the only person we can deal with at CV Homes (probably the only agent within the Coventry branch).

We never had an experience with an agency as negative as this one.
