I am appalled with the service I have received from Hudson Moody Wass. The flat I moved in to was not cleaned, there were bin bags left on the balcony, broken furnitures in the rooms and most of the light fittings left hanging from the ceiling. Having reported this we had to wait a week for cleaners to come, and a few more days for the electricians to come and sort the light fittings. However not all the light fittings were done, with more parts being required. It has been two weeks since they first came, and we have not heard anything from Hudson Moody Wass. Only upon going into the office to speak to them did we find the parts were still on order.
It was also agreed that the flat would be painted since the walls look terribly scuffed and dirty. We are still waiting to hear when this will be done. Only when we went in to ask did we find that the surveyors have been to price it up and we are waiting on the landlady to give the go ahead.
When we went to speak with Hudson Moody Wass the lady who sorts out our flat was about to be busy with a signing, and we were asked to leave the office and make ourselves scarce for 10-20 minutes until that was done. I found this incredibly rude and would expect rather that I was offered a seat and maybe even a courtesy cup of tea, not sent outside to entertain myself.
It would appear that Hudson Moody Wass have an issue with communication and not updating their tenants, as far as we knew we had been forgotten about and nothing was being done about our flat. Add to that they have terrible customer service and are unable to be courteous to their tenants. I would suggest you avoid Hudson Moody Wass unless you want to be walked all over once you have signed a contract.

Hudson Moody Wass are a terrible letting agent. They are slow to respond to repeated issues with a property and have no issues in lying to you. The owner of the company is unprofessional and egotistical. He shows little feeling towards his tenants.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Treat your tenants with far more respect and actually try to deal with problems in your properties rather than brushing them under the carpet. We were treated like idiots and felt completely taken advantage of.... shelling out ‚£325 per month EACH for a place that didn't even have working showers for the last 4 months.
