Please do not use this agency. They owe us £4,000 and if you search them you will see there are 7 outstanding CCJs owing around £150K (as of 15/4/11). All this explains the slow payment of monthly rents and poor service standards. But the most worrying part is that despite the tenancy agreement containing the DPS details the deposit taken for us was not protected (this is an offence and puts the landlord in a tricky position) and despite us terminating the agreement the deposit has not been paid back. In addition they are not members of either of the Estate Agents ombudsman schemes and we have been advised that they are trading illegally. All in all don't go any where near this company.

We found out about the CCJ's a couple of months after we moved in, when they continually failed to register our deposit with the DPS. (A certificate is issued by the DPS once the deposit is registered for the agent to forward onto the tenant.) I issued a claim through the county court for fee of around £80, and then phoned them to say as there were so many outstandings debts, we should skip straight to bankruptcy proceedings. The deposit was registered within 24 hours.
