The service was awful. The appliances in the flat were in a terrible state and every time this was mentioned to Sheldon it was effectively ignored for as long as possible. Our oven remained broken for 4 weeks of badgering before it was fixed.

They were always rude and at one point even the manager swore at me and hung up the phone.

The problems didn't stop after we left as they made getting the damage deposit back very difficult and eventually took money off us for a washing machine that was in the same state as when we arrived.

I would seriously advise anyone not to use them, either tenant or landlord.

I am so sorry that your experience was a bad one. If you would like to provide details of the tenancy and property we could comment properly and investigate who was responsible. We conduct and administer thousands of tenancies and luckily precious few end up with this sort of feedback. The company is under new ownership and management team but we would like to apologise on behalf of the previous and current team. All deposits are held not by Sheldon Bishop but by the government scheme DPS and any monies withheld form any deposit must be proven and detailed in a check in inventory and check out inventory so there is no room for any monies to be with held unfairly. These decisions are taken solely by the governments scheme.
