I gave Lenwell copies of water bills to be forwarded to the tenant in my flat. They then quoted back to me and the tenant that they were paid. Yes, by me - I'm due that money back. Why is passing on a bill so difficult? Terrible service. I wrote in to give notice that the tenancy was to not to be renewed only to find when I came for my keys that they hadn't served notice to the tenant. Irregular statements, no reply to letters or emails unless you phone or go in to the office. The management staff simply do not care.

I let my property out as I work away a lot so I have to trust the letting agents I use. With Lenwell you end up questioning everything they do. I could not advise strongly enough that you look for a different letting agency. The letting staff are great but you will pay dearly when you come into contact with the management staff.

If your that bothered about bad consumer feedback the become Transparent Agent and put your money where your mouth is.

I am very sorry you are unhappy with the service we have provided. At Lenwell we strive to provide the highest level of Customer Service and in 2010 won the Sunday Times Gold Award for Customer Service.

Your complaint seems a simple problem to resolve and I would ask you to call me (or email me) direct to resolve this.

I am disappointed that you feel our management staff don’t care. Our staff are all shareholders in the company and the majority hold the ARLA technical award qualification.

Actually when you read the reviews you will observe Landlords are as unhappy with the staff and service as tenants. Some of us care for our tenants and object to vulnerable tenants being exploited and then Lenwell lieing about the situation. ...

Really I have noticed a theme of same worded compliments for the Bedford office One of your agents in the Dunstable branch should have been arrested for theft and fraud and you attempted at first to cover it up. Particularly shocking as the tenant was vulnerable ...
