My girlfriend and I used Morgan Randall to let our flat in Balham, eventually the property was successfully let, however the tenants have moved out after 8 months. The fee paid to Morgan Randall was 11% of the annual rent, which was paid up front. We were told on numerous occasions that if the tenants activate the break clause then Morgan Randall will refund any overpayment of fees or they will re -let the property and deduct the overpayment from the next fee for the new tenant. They are now refusing to refund the overpayment in fees, consequently they owe us in the region of £500 with the effective fee being closer to 20% of the rent the tenants paid.
