I found it frankly unbelievable that Curchods were voted a top estate agents in Surrey. The service we received from the East Horsley branch was appalling. Richard, a rather pompous character, who clearly thinks anyone not spending £1m plus on a house is a waste of his time and beneath is position in the world, treated us with distain, did not does his job properly (blaming anyone and everyone else) and after formally accepting an offer from us on a property, decided that due to delays beyond our control on proceeding that he would re-market the property without consultation or engagement.
I have told everyone I know what I think of Curchods.
Interestingly, many other people who had the misfortune of engaging with other offices, felt a similar way.

Positives: Curchods were relatively easy to contact, and the agents did (usually) call back or respond to emails when we left messages.
