We are overseas tenants, and have had to rely on Helmores not just to market the property, but also to organise the many checks and improvements needed to make the property fit to rent. Helmores have done everything we have asked, using local tradesmen we know, and the property has been let within six weeks of first contacting them.
I have been particularly impressed with the staff at the Crediton branch, who have always been available to offer good advice and reassurance. We have not seen the property for over two years, so this was particularly helpful.
I would not hesitate to recommend Helmores to prospective landlords for a very friendly service, and a thorough and realistic knowledge of the local area.

Covid 19 struck the UK in March 2020, the initial damp was reported in January 2019, and it took till October 2019 to carry out any inspection. A report was passed to Helmores shortly after this in early November 2019. Sadly, the landlords wife did pass also in March 2020. So both incidents you mentioned occurred 14 months after the damp was raised & 5 months after the report.
