Have recently brought our dream house all the hassle was worth it.but what a long trip it has been. Offered on the house first offer declined but was called back within 20 mins to say declined.2nd offer was told no by the estate agent no even going to the vendor so we offered again and it took 3 days to eventually accept the offer.was not updated with this at all i had to chase the estate agent.after offer was accepted that was it didn't hear from mansbridge and Balment for over a week.i tried to ring Emily gruitt but she didnt ring me back.it was very frustrating.then after a week i eventually got a call to say have we got a solicitor.I responded with yes we've had one for a week now,i said do the other side have a solicitor and was told no a week later so almost 2 weeks later we were told they had a solicitor.after that I tried to get hold of Emily and she didn't return my calls this went on for a while.had to speak to the manager Kevin as couldn't get hold of Emily.I explained this to him.had a.surveyor booked was arranged by our financial adviser he rang ma nsbridge to tell them this they responded with no its not booked with them.so fine fair enough so financial adviser rang surveyor to double check on date and was told it was booked they had spoken to mansbridge.rang mansbridge again and they then said that the surveyor was booked for a different date.from the.surveyors report i.hsf questions I had to ask mansbridge spoke to Emily as.she was the one that sold the house.was told by her we need to ask our solicitor these questions.told our solicitor and Emily is meant to be the person to go back to the sellers and ask as this is part of the sale of the house not a legal matter.Emily refused.so our solicitor did it as she knew we were having trouble with Emily.received paperwork for the fixtures and fittings and things we were told were part of the sale wernt....Emily lied.was not told a pit in the garage which is a major safety risk as we have a small child.didn't hear anything from Emily/mansbridge for the length of buying the house.would never use them again.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Answered the phone or replied to messages left on answer phone and with other colleagues.kept us up to date with what was going on.I shouldn't have to chase them.do the job they get paid for.
